Anyone riding this weekend?

I don't have to work this weekend or the next. So it would be nice to meet up with some people and go on a ride. Saturday looks like rain but I am free Friday after 10am and all day Sunday. Anyone up for it?

Ok so it looks like we have 3 so far. Myself, my brother, and Joel (l3uddha) and possibly a few of my friends from school.

Now we just need to figure out where we're riding!

I might do a fairly short 2-3 hour ride local here near Greenfield before heading out for a round of golf, and a bbq and beers following that!

ya I plan on riding saturday also. I have not been up to NH or VT yet this season. Anyone feel like maybe hitting that up? I don't usually get the weekend off so I am pumped!

I'll hopefully be out of work by 8-9am Saturday, then I have to be in Winchendon, MA for 1ish, so will have till probably 12 to ride. Might do a loop out into the Berkshires, or probably hit up some of southern VT, Rt.100/30/112/8, something like that.

Oh true, I cant ride Saturday morning, cause the part to fix my bike wont be here until mail comes, which is usually early afternoon. I'll be riding ALL day Sunday though, from the time I get home in the morning, until I cant see through my visor because its so caked with bugs.

ok so what day would be better for people? I plan on riding both days. Maybe we should get a mini group ride started? Anyone know of some good roads up north? I don't know the area enough to suggest any or else I would head it up.

if slightly north and west of 495 is up north 119 to rindge or you can cut of 111 and take 122 to nh i just did that road tonight thanks to capt. it was fairly light and relaxing but if you hit it hard it could be fun it might be a hike for you guys from that far south but if you get lost on back roads all the way there it could be fun

I've gone on some long group rides before in the past. Leaving from my house in the morning, I can usually rack up over 500 miles by the time I get home.

I'm off next weekend as well. We should start a group ride next Sunday. That way people will have more notice.

oh good call That reminds me, this sunday is my mothers b-day. We'll see what she has planned but chances are I'll still be out riding.

My parents will be in Florida, so no worries for mothers day for me.

I'll be home by 11-12 on Sunday, and if anyone wants to head out here to meet up, I can take some people up in VT if they'd like. I'll likely be riding till dark, or a little past that, so I'm personally counting on 8-9 hours of riding Sunday.

I know some fun roads in VT.

I'll be around both days. i'm planning on doing a little wrenching on the bike tommorow morning. but i'ld be up for a group ride either day.
