RRR 2012: Random Rhode island Rides for 2012 thread

Is anyone riding today after work? I'm riding the bike to work and if noone is around will be making a loop through narragansett then up some back roads to 102 and around the scituate reservoir I think.

what time you out of work? I rode in today, but I've got a 1/2 day so I'll be heading out around 1:45-2 from work, you work in NK right? My office is just down the road from the Quonsett entrance.
Not sure if I'm riding right from work, may head home 1st to take the dogs out for a quick run then head out for a 1.5-2 hour ride. If your out around 5 maybe we could meet up somewhere on your loop in the richmond/hope valley/hopkington area I'll check back.

changed my route, leaving at 3 from NK just a short ride into pawtucket because we got tickets to the all you can eat bbq and fireworks at mccoy today so im not taking a huge ride, taking 95>117>116>Winsor ave>RT5>128S>95 and into pawtucket. If you wanna meet somewhere let me know.

I haven't has a bike in a while but I picked up a 2012 Ninja 650 from Razee Friday. 500+ miles so far this weekend of easy break in, and still a few more going on tonight. By the time my plate comes in I will be picking up the goods for the first service and ready to go anywhere. I have some longer trips in mind for this Summer but am usually down for whatever most weeknights from 6 on and most of the time on weekends.

Nice avatar. Apparently you found Twisted Throttle. Starting this Wednesday let's try to get a bike night going at our shop. It is at 570 Nooseneck Hill Rd Which is Route 3 in Exeter. Any time after 5pm seems like a good time to start. The weather is much nicer now. We'll start small but I have a few ideas for things to make it interesting. The boss already gave me the green light to set up a skills course and we have a huge over sized grill if you want to bring anything to cook.... I have to buy some cones yet for the course and get a waiver together. Is anyone interested in some friendly competition? If you have any ideas of things you would like to see at a bike night let me know.

Local bike night sounds good since the "other" ones are 100+ mile slabs away, I could walk to this one.

How about a ride? maybe every other week do a ride that start & ends at TT? Probably be a relatively small group with the number of non-harley riders in RI

Alright! Looks like we have a great core to start with already. Everyone try to bring a friend. Technically we cannot really organize rides just yet but we will encourage you guys to meet at this bike night and go on rides together. Heck ill even suggest one or two local roads.

Well, it's 5:50 now...I'm out....the wife's computer at work won't talk to the network printer, and I'm the one who has to fix it - I knew this job was gonna snowball, and it did big time....grrr effin celeron XP on a wireless network, system never maintained, driver discs gone - thought I was done with this crap 5 years ago...

I'm up for a ride whenever though....and somebody go find the tag in the RI tag o rama!
