Sat. 7/17 NH/VT ride...

Gonna meet up at Hooters in Manchester at 9 AM and head out to Sunapee then VT. weather permitting.

NH Rt149 and VT Rt100 are in the forecast. Expect a moderate to fast (but not crazy dangerous fast) pace. Hope to see you there...

Interesting!!! I was hoping to get out there Saturday as well in hopes to make it to rt17 via 100/ 125/ 116 and back to Mass. How possible is that for this ride???

If it's anywhere round here I could meet up for that but I don't think that my rear tire will be cahnged by then...

Like do an overnighter...you won't regret it...waking up in the middle of great twisties rather than having to ride the gauntlet of cages and LEOs to get there...not to mention the ice cold brew after the ride to gat to say Burlilngton and not having to ride home....WTF

Soon there will be an over nighter, but not for me this weekend. I have some people to meet Sunday morning, so I have to get back home some time Saturday night. If this doesn't spark up, I will be going to Mohegan Sun Friday night and sleeping 1/2 the Day Saturday....

Well I'll tell ya, I was checking out the map and 125/116/17 certainly looks doable as it's right off of rt. 100.

Nikon, I like to hit a place on Rt.11 that makes the most badass sandwiches that are named after famous Vermonters. Of course the name of the place escapes me so if you have another good idea for a meeting place then I'm open to suggestions.

Keep in midn that I don't have to lead this thing HS so if you know that are well then I'm willing to turn it over to you so long as you promise not to get us killed.

& No promises, ride your own ride, I am responsible for me & me only!! I dont mind leading but like it when I dont have to pay attention to routes and who is where/when. I do plenty of leading and can stand a break! Either way man! Still unsure If I will be going, have a few things in the works that could impose on Saturday?

are you talkin route 11 down in southern VT? By londonderry and peru?

I am not going to attempt makin it down there on this tire. you're talkin about 2 - 2.5 hours from that route 11 (by Bellows Falls) to route 17 straight up100. Of course, that's at speeds about 65-75 or so. You hguys will probably make it a little quicker of course

I could def meet up on 17 if you like. There is a place in Waitsfield that I wouldn't mind eatin but if that's too far/long to wait I def understand. If you are going to be headed to 17 I would like to meet up with you guys there if you are going to be there at a reasonable time cause I have to work at 4 and that's about 45 or so away for me so I would have to be headed back home around 3.

If this fits in I would like to meet you Jamie and I guess I could deal with seein Mike again (prick)

Let me know what you're thinkin and I could give out my celly to either/both of you and you could give me a shout when you're near rutland. (assuming you're headed straight up 100...)

I am bailing on this after all my crappy input and all !! Sorry, looks like possible showers north in the early to late afternoon. So I will probably stay some what close to home so I can high tail it home if the clouds do roll in. If anyone wants to hang kind of local and has an idea for a route, let me know ! I am thinking either southern NH or Western MA Maybe the Berks???? Who knows good roads out there??

Well it doesn't look like anybody wants to go with me to VT and I really don't feel up to going all the way out there by myself so I would be interested in a N. Shore run. I actually lived in Wenham and Salem for a few years so I know the area well. I'll PM you Oreo...

to be honest though the weather doesn't look that hot and if there is a repeat of today - it could be bad news. mid afternoon we had some REALLY NASTY stuff roll in. Flash floods and the like in the mountains.....

May be something to hold for another weekend..

Myself and Skiierx just putted around locally and tore up the local twisties within 15 mile radius of me. The Mini Gap was fun today with no cars along with out other sweet stisty road in Wayland, that has some fresh road ! Mmmmm Smooth.

When I got home I gave my tire a flat and plugged it to try out these plugs I have and how good they will hold up! Just for shits & Grins !

We almost made it there today, but the rain clouds rolled in too early and we tucked our tails between our legs and scooted back south, and still got soaked.... Oh well.. We made it as far as Killington. Awesome and SUPER FAST Day!!!
