You can simply type the link, completely with the http or click the Insert Link image when you repsond to a thread.

Or, you can type something similar to (remove the spaces near the brackets):

so it was the black cbr600rr and looks like a blue fz1? i hear they both road home but hope they are both alright. he doesnt look like hes got much road rash, so i assume he was wearing gear.

it was a blue fz6 (under tail exhaust) and i thought some one said it was a 1000rr but i could be wrong

It was a blue FZ6. He did have a two piece on so it was minimal. Mostly just injured pride.

Thanks, V for setting up the ride. We wish we could have stayed longer at the BBQ, but unfortunately, my parent's lakehouse was calling. The directions to91 were right on. Took 2 naps on the way back, but still made it in about 3 hours. Also thanks to the guys in my group for making sure I was okay after my overheating episode... It was so nice being on a group ride again, even if we did get a bit lost.

We weren't lost. We knew exactly where we were. Even if it wasn't where we were supposed to be.

V, if that was the case we would have done it AFTER we hit the "TWISTIES" parts.

"rte 8 becomes rt-82 (left at for/stop sign)" when we got to rte 82 it was left for south, right for north.

"82 becomes 7 south" ... makes sense that I'd be taking 82 south right? Nope. We wanted north but the directions didn't specify

that's where my mistake was... I missed rte 8 (mile markers between turns would have helped), but it wasn't a big deal at the time cuz we came still hit rte 82.... except "X becomes 82 (left at fork/stop sign)" pointed us south, not north. 60 miles or so later and still no rte 7 or twisties... I began to wonder.

It's not a big deal, we still had a good ride... next time put proper compass headings on the routes & use google maps. Put pause markers at each turn & it gives you milage between turn so i'm not looking for a turn that could be either still be 10 miles ahead us or could be 10 miles behind us.

now put this issue to rest cuz if this continues to drag out & I hear one more word about missing turns or mixing up routes then the solution is easy, I just won't friggin lead a group next time. The ride had it's wrinkles but if you take my suggestions you can iron them out and next time around this good ride we just had will be even better.

You were supposed to turn right on Pulver Rd, I understand you missed it, but the directions were all accurate if you had went that way. I'm a little "lost" myself here, just not sure if what you're trying to say is that my directions were wrong...lol

Actually I was separated from my whole group after letting them all pass me to get on the twisties. Nobody waited at the next road turn and they kept on going. They all made it to the lunch stop without a problem. TestingurTomato came behind me at one point and we finished the ride together to the lunch stop (thanks btw... )
Looking at the way you went, it sucks....you were so close. 199 would have brought you right where you were supposed to go.

I KNOW I was supposed to turn right on Pulver fucking road. And we WERE on 199, it took us to 82... now go look at the directions you printed out... no "north" or "south" onto rte 82, just "8 becomes 82" LEFT at fork/stop.... I took a left, it put us on 82 South. "82 becomes 7 South"... 82 South made sense.

I never said your directions were wrong, I'm saying mile markers and compass directions on ALL of the routes would have gone a long fucking way.

Now like I said before... drop it now or I won't do you the favor of leading a group and breaking up a group of almost 40 FUCKIN BIKES. I still can't believe you wanted to stay in one big group on a ride like this. That's absolutely ridiculous.

yea the first one down was the black cbr lost his right hand mirror, 6 or 1k i'm not sure but the one with the most damadge to bike and pride is Terminal and his shiny new fz6

Calm down Pete, I'm not even mad...so don't be either...LOL We spoke about the mile marker thing, as I told you, I was not able to get them using google. It would give me mile markers, but not "turn to turn", it would give me mile markers from let's say...Gristmill Plaza to Granby Rd CT" for exemple. Which would have been very confusing and really not accurate. I worked 2 days on those stupid maps, got my husband mad for going to bed late, etc. ROFL!! I got really furstrated actually for not being able to get those mile markers. I know IT IS an important part of directions, otherwise people don't know how long they are supposed to go before the next road turn. Next time I will ask for help. It was extremely frustrating for me to know you guys were lost somewhere, I felt responsible and I actually thought of trying to go and find you, but being by myself searching a group in that heat wouldn't have been very smart. At least you guys were all together.

His bike being actually more messed up than he thought it was, the poor guy crashed again on his way home and ended up in the hospital with an ambulance trip. Now I feel REALLY shitty. I put on together a ride and was so excited to ride with all of you, then people get lost, people crash ending hurt...I just want to hug all of you. I'm so so sorry...it was a long day for everyone.

HaHa...either way it was a good time. Getting lost just seems to go with the territory. I haven't been on one ride were we haven't got lost. With that said thanks for leading Pete and for getting us lost you Piss Head! . Good times all the way around. Thanks V for everything I had a blast. Nice Job on the Grill Capt one to many Burgers though . Nice to finally put a face to Tomato Paste. Pete i'm never riding behind you again...one more Fart and i would have fallen off the bike.

Yes Kirk Stephan and I thank you for helping with the grill!! Aren't those burgers AWSOME? All the meat (chicken and burgers) are from Friendly's Restaurant, thanks to Alan (on the Busa) for providing it.
