Didn't you know? This is the ride for all the un-cool people. I'm the most un-cool NESR member, everyone joining that ride is so not cool, except for Pete, he's cool, I'm actually surprised he wants in on that ride, I bet he said he was coming just to get us all excited to have such a cool guy coming along, he'll probably give us a cheesy excuse at the last minute and not show up, just watch.

I think I can make the ride, but not the party.

If you can make a google map of the route I can convert it for my GPS then lead one of the groups if you need to split them up.

Also, I have a FRS/GMRS radio two of them with headsets, if we need to communicate.

Ughhh...This is NO charity ride. And don't worry, I have the route planned to a "T". I have every single turn on paper, rest stops, lunch stop, etc. and EVERYTHING is being map out as we speak. I drove that route twice and made sure I wrote down everything. It's a "group" ride, I don't see the need to separate the group, except for the roads that have VERY tight twisties. For those roads, we will be setting up a faster group before we leave, with one leader, and they will go in front of me at the turn/intersection before that road so they can have their fun going at faster speeds, and just wait for my group at the next turn. These roads will also be marked in red color on the map, so you fast hooligans knows when the next playground is coming...LOL Everything will go smoothly I'm sure, everyone will have a good time.

It sounds like you have thought of everything.

I try...I would hate for anyone to get lost during the ride, so I think it's important to make sure everyone has a detailed route on paper in their possession, just in case. The big group will be separated on many occasions when the faster group go ahead of us, so I just want to make sure everyone can find each other at the next turn.

LOL, no group "color"... I'm only going to trace in red the roads that are full of awsome twisties so the fast group can see it on their map, and just go ahead and pass me to go have some fun at a faster pace. Some of these routes are ONLY tight twisties with no straight lines. Driving them was a blast!

It's difficult to give you an exact amount of time...I made many stops, turned around, etc. but I can tell you it's about 250 miles for the day.

EDIT: Ok, somehow I cannot send this link to my email, it screw it all up. Second, for some reason I don't understand, the link doesn't show the place marks for rest stop (scenic, gas, and lunch spot). That sucks. Anyway, those directions on the left side are WAYYYY to confusing, I will type those directions in a very simple outline and give you guys copies of it. This is the first part of the ride, from starting point, to the lunch destination. 3 hours (if going speed limit), 103 miles. Approximate lunch arrival: 12:30pm. I will trace the second part of the ride and post the link on here.

Also, I would really appreciate if you guys could check out the restaurant menu, so when we get there you already got a good idea of what you want to order so it can be done quick. Outdoor terrasse and indoor bar/eating area have been reserved for our group! (yup, I stopped by and ask...lol). Another alternative that would make things go even faster is this: the owner of that place offered me to set up a "do it yourself sandwich", setting up tables with meat (pulled pork, etc.) and salads/fixings, so people can just get a plate, quickly make their own sandwich and fixings, go sit and eat. In and out, quick. I hesitated tho, not knowing if everyone would be OK with that. He said if we want to do this, he would set everything up, and charge each person a flat price for their lunch.
