Saturday or Sunday Morning C pace ride anyone?

Hey ya'll, looking to get out early one of these weekend mornings and go for a group ride but since I'm a huge pussy I want to keep the speed within the range where we are most likely not going to get a ticket and be able to enjoy the ride.

I was think of heading either Westward into the boonies from Bolton or North towards either Gloucester via 127 (along the ocean) or Hampton/Salisbury. I figure we can get some people together who want to ride first them take a vote on a location to meet and ride to.

Anyone interested??? Anyone, anyone... Bueller?

Also if there is an experience person out there who wants to putt along with us you are more than welcome to come!!

C Pace: Usually not to exceed 10 mph over the speed limit. Passing is usually limited to passing zones and loooong double yellow straights. Due to the number of newbies and inexperienced riders, these rides are usually very organized with lead, sweeps and frequent stops and head counts. Proper group riding techniques are practiced; hand signals, formation, etc. The route is planned in advance, and much time is spent by veterans coaching newer riders. *It is important the note that most 'C' pace rides are at the speed limit, but the limit can be exceeded in some places. It is not consistently limit +10.

Only for the time being, might have on of my buddy's bikes in my garage for a while...may become mine in the long run. I'll either be on that or the Z, what day do you want to do? I think I have a party to go to Saturday afternoon so I would need to be home Saturday at a reasonable time, and Sunday afternoon I have commitments as well. So basically both days I would have to be home by probably noon latest.

If you guys go out Saturday morning you might consider getting to MaryAnnes in Derry for Breakfast. Then, drop down to Seacoast to see their Hyper Truck...and maybe test ride one too. Then you could head east on some nice back roads and end up at the beach!

Depending on where we are headed sounds likes a decent idea, I need to be back at my place by noon or so, I don't know when Steve plans to leave or where he wants to meet.

I definitely think a breakfast stop is key though.

I know some people are available Saturday and some on Sunday(damn rain! hopefully it will be nice both days).

I am available BOTH days till 1-2pm-ish so lets do just that. C paced ride both Saturday and Sunday morning. I'd like to meet up by 8:30-9 so we can get about 4-5 hours in the saddles. ALSO THE RIDE OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T HAVE TO STOP BECASUE I HAVE TO LEAVE!!!

DucDave's ride on Saturday sounds GREAT!! Maybe we can do the coast Saturday and the Mountains Sunday??

Sorry for the confusion! It was just a suggestion...I'm not able to do the ride myself! I'm leaving Sunday at 4:30am with 4 others for the Cat Ferry in Portland and a week in Nova Scotia/Cape Breton/PEI! I may have breakfast with Mark and Nick at Maryannes at 9:00am Saturday then go to Seacoast for an hour. But after that I'm back home to cut the grass, clean the pool, and whatever else the better half has on the list!!!

Maybe we'll see some of you at MaryAnnes! Otherwise, have a great weekend...sounds like a couple of fun days!

What day where you available? Maybe that’s the day we can do the out West ride we missed that day so your near your house already?

Both days I need to be home around the same time and preferably I would rather ride Saturday because the weather looks better. I need to be at a party with the soon-to-be wifey by 2 latest. If I can't go I can't go I just thought I would throw it out there.
