    Scoots on the Vineyard?

    Would anyone be interested in renting scooters and riding around the vineyard for a day? I've heard scoots can be had for something like $50/day. Any takers?

    My g/f's bro is a cop in Menemsha and he said most of the accidents are people hitting the scooters. When we were down last summer a guy wiped out in the sand and then got ran over.

    Why don't you bring your bike over on the ferry from Woodshole like i did?

    You don't need a reservation to bring your bike across. It is pretty easy.

    Isn't it something like $60 to bring the bike over, plus tickets on top of that? I was thinking of doing it but couldn't justify payin' that. I still don't see why a scooter or moped is only liek $10, but a motorcycle so much more.

    Scoots on the Vineyard?

    I took my bike over a couple of years ago. It was like $68 roundtrip or something like that. I did a couple trips around the island. The bike was very handy over there. Although when I went to the beach, I looked like a squid, but I left the sandels at the rental house!
