Good ride, and nice to meet some people. After meeting back up again with Dave and Terry (much thanks for the drink) on the way home I accidentally peeled off the wrong exit - thought I needed to go east for some reason. Whatever, I quickly figured it out, but hope no one was worried where I wandered off to.

    Some pics!

Seriously, I'm starting to thinki it's simply that they don't feel comfortable riding with me (us?)....

That's my buddy Mike, HankTheTank here on the forum. He actually messed up his knee pretty bad, getting MRI today. Just landed on it weird. The bike is fine, I had it fixed by the time he came out of the medical building.

That sucks. Saw him with the ice pack when I was over in your garage. Hope it is nothing serious and he recovers quick.

    That blows.

Sav pointed you out. But no, I did not intro myself. I think you guys had literally just rolled in off the track and were busy with stuff. There was a lot going on and I didn't want to get in the way. Next time I'll try to make my way over earlier in the day... now that I know which way is which.

That wasn't pretty to watch, there was a collective 'oh shit!' along the hot pit wall when he did that. I thought for a moment all 50 of us or so were going to jump the wall en-masse to his aid. If he hasn't already, start the paperwork to apply for help from the Hornbecker fund, that's what it's for.

    Sorry for missing this.
I wasn't ready for a full day of riding so Vicki and I took a little ride around Massabesic lake.
I'll be there for the next one.

It was beautiful weather, wasn't it?

Nice to meet you on a DucDave ride last year. Glad to see you joined us again for another ride, and joined NESR!

Thanks again to Dave for leading another fun ride and to Cheese for sweeping.

Yeah bubba, AFTER all the bikes go out for the warmup lap you can mosey over to the wall behind the flag man and watch the start and subsequent race. Follow the crowd. I was appalled at how fast bikes similar to my SV were going by and bending it into T1, it didn't seem possible I could have been doing that!

Damn... now I think I have to go back for another race just to walk out onto pit row like that. Just to call the experience complete. Shucks!

I also neglected to find a place to watch the fast guys come down the hill through 9. I hear that is pretty impressive too.
