Damn it, I'm working on Saturday so I'm going to miss it. I've been meaning to hit up a dyno. Every bike I have ridden that is supposed to be the same as mine in a straight line always seems slower than mine.

Prepare yourself for disappointment... No one's bike actually produces the power that they think it will...

I don't really car how much power it makes I'm more or less looking for a reason that mine feels faster than other bikes that I've ridden that are supposed to be equal in a straight line. Like my friends '99 CBR is supposed to be pretty much the same as mine 0-60 and 1/4 mile but it feels sluggish compared to mine. His bike only has a little over 8K on it and it was just gone through so I can't see anything being wrong with it.

Chris, so what is this event? is it a $20 donation on top of the dyno charge, or is a free dyno with a $20 donation?

We're charging $20 for the dyno run and it ALL goes to charity. Hope you guys can make it!

It's a good thing I'll be at the MSF this weekend. I want to get a baseline for the 250, lol, but I don't want to break the dyno before everyone else get's a run.

    Dang!

I might have to toss in on this to see what the FJR throws down for numbers then go home and grab the FZ1 to see what that does.

    Blake, it wasnt good.

let's say I may not have had the most powerful bike at seacoast, but I did have the loudest.

bad timing how i'm having it tuned and custom mapped next week with new plugs. the graph showed inconsistancy on the fuel/air ratio's

How not good are we talking here? It probably did better than mine would have. I'm only rated at around 97hp and 55.3tq at the motor from the factory. Most people dyno low 90-high 80's at the wheel with them, not sure about the tq though.

You only had the loudest because I had to work today

I see how it is. You're just too much of a pussy to post up your dyno numbers because your chromed out gixxah only made 70hp. It's OK, we won't laugh at you....Too much

Buell lost 1 HP from last year, 85 and the R6 hit 101 - everyone leaves these things disappointed, the factories publish crank not rear wheel.

Don't worry Jim, your noise maker had more than my Buell (a little more any ways...) nice meeting you guys
