I know you guys and girls are all a little more gutsy than me, but if anyone is up for a leisurely ride in the concord NH area, let me know (possibly for Sunday 7/17?). My Ninja doesn't keep up too well on the twisties and I'm still learning, but I'd love a chance to ride that doesn't include a trip to work.

I'd be up for a ride. There were a few people planning on a ride from MotoMarket, but that's just too far for me to ride to ride, if that makes any sense.

Looks like there's another new guy on a 250 from durham who's looking to ride, I'm on a 600 and have been riding for three years but I suck, so it would work.

I'm off to a family gathering for most of the day but I'll check the site when I get back, I might suggest manchester as a central meeting point for all who are interested, say mall of manch parking lot over by ze best buy, and a meeting time of 9am tomorrow?

I'm thinking with an actual female rider on board this ride may start to generate more interest Bring pepper spray

SWEET! I didn't think anyone would be willing to put up with me! And as for the pepper spray, I think I'll be okay, I have reiobard instead. And, yeah for 250s! I don't know the roads in that area well at all, but if you know a good route, 9AM is good for me.

My bike is about as slow as a 250, but I don't know if I'll be in bed by 9AM, let alone up and ready to ride. But I would like to ride with NH people at some point this summer.

What's reiobard? Is that like mace?

Anyway with the madness that is Nascar, the wise move will be to head either due east or due west of Manch tomorrow. Due East I would envision looping around the east banks of winnepesaukee back aroudn and down through there. I know that area somewhat but I'm not an expert. But I got a map.

Due west...I don't know shit about anything west of 93. As far as I'm concerned, there isn't anything west of 93. I've actually heard there are some nice roads over that way, but either we'd have to feel them out or someone else would have to lead if that's the way we want to head.

Seems the two threads are merging and there's the possibility of the MM crew ending up in manchester as well on the way to the roads up here (though they may decide to go the VT way, which I couldn't blame them for, there are nice roads out there). If they end up over here we'd probably have to give them a bit of time to get up from Mass, say 10-10:30.

Are those knobbies on the F4i? I imagine that woudl slow you down.

There seems to be a possibility of a ride up from MM to NH and beyond. In which case we would start later than 9. But I don't know. 9 isn't bad. Just whenever you get home, drag your bike over to the MoM and pass out on it, we'll poke you with a stick when we get there and you'll be all set and ready to ride.

10 would probably be better anyway, since I never get to sleep. Ever. Hooray for retail. If they want to meet us at Best Buy in Manch at 10-10:30 I am up for that. Besides, they probably have a better idea as to where they are/want to be going. We could try heading west if they choose VT, but I also dont know what is there...it is all no-man's-land until the VT border in my little head, and I think east might be hopping with race traffic, but I could be wrong. My vote is, bring that map!

Work? On sunday? Why, that's sacreligious. I'm not particularly devout, but I become so when people ask me to work on Sundays. You should try it. Call your boss a heathen. Works great.

I'm sure we will do other rides this season, I haven't gotten nearly enough miles on the bike this year and I hope to remedy that. Might get a sort of maintenance day / ride going next weekend, if you've got the day off.

Regardless, tomorrow, I will bring a map. And rain gear, looks like we might get a drizzle or two out there. As for time, if the MM people want to meet up with us we'll let them set a meeting time, otherwise 10am works for me. If it's just going to be the locals (Durham guy? Where's durham guy?) I wouldn't mind meeting up somewhere closer to concord, 107 up through raymond is a nice ride for me and would give you a chance to sleep more and me a chance to ride more, which would serve both our purposes.

I believe I heard my name...ah yesss, the Durham guy? thats me.

Anyway, I'm not going to be able to make it because of a last minute soccer commitment tomorrow. So it looks like I'm out for tomorrow. Next weekend I would definitely be down though.

    Have fun tomorrow!

So, the fictional mall (mall of NH) at 10AM? By the Best Buy entrance. We can figure out a way to go from there, and if they want to meet us, then they will have to catch us before we leave. Looks like just the two of us so if you know anyone not a part of the forum, bring them along!

All my people work on Sundays.

We are an anti-religious bunch, apparently.

Yep, good ride today, felt good to get out for a longish ride again, sad that it's already mid july and that's the first all day ride I've done. We will have to do it again, maybe that seacoast ride that's being talked around?

Alfred and Gonz, you guys make it back allright?
