5-15-24 Vermont ATV opening day ride

The VASA trails open up on the 15 th of May.

John boy and I will be up riding our ATV’s and off road bikes 5-15 and 16th.

Free rough camping with outhouse , pavilions
    and stocked fire pit .

This is a ATV slash- off road / enduro bike ride .

We are each bringing both because trail conditions can be unpredictable.

    West Fairlee , VT

PM for exact address / coordinates if interested.

What is protocol in VT for out of state registration? helmets & seatbelts?

I go up once a year, but not on state trails, mostly on my brother's property, but some on his neighbors. My sister-in-law says the game wardens are pricks on the state trails in the Newport - Lowell area

As of 2 years ago helmets and insurance is required along with a valid state registration ( any state ) then go online and get your VASA TAD ( Trail Access Decal )

    Helmets are ATV only .

None needed for UTV unless under 18 ? or so .

I have 16 years on the ATV trails in VT and only ran into a fish and game warden once .

    He was in a truck

Hmm! wonder if my NH Spec Comm registration for the street qualifies as a valid state registration, haven't registered for NH trails in several years, only place I ride besides my property is Stoneman's

With VASA you do it all on-line now .

Yes that would be acceptable I would think .

You upload a picture of your valid registration, pay the out of state fee and they send you your TAD stickers .

You get a temporary 15 day one sent to your email upon submitting payment .
