Spur of the moment ride out of dedham area

Just thought of going out tonight, supposed to rain in the am tomorrow.

Buddy just emailed me a route that would go through dedham and westwood out into dover area, real nice roads etc. If anyone is interested hit me up.

here is the route he showed me, it would be a left from norwood, but a right onto nahatan from dedham area.

the starting point is close to a few different exits off of 95, from the north, great plain ave or 109, and from the south, dedham to walpole area. If any of these work, just tell me for a rally point.

Sorry for throwing this out there last second, didn't really give anyone time to be ready for this.

Was a decent ride for being nearby. I usually go through the blue hills and bounce around quincy and head back. This ride was alot longer and the roads are in good shape. I suggest if anyone wants to check it out, do so during the day. The signs are hard to read at night, lighting is minimal and bugs were aplenty. Made for an easy 2 hour stint and once you know some of these streets, you can make it longer or shorter as needed.

My buddy warned about popo, I didn't see any at night, but the houses look like they hit the 7 digit category so it is understandable.

    cheers

and bonk, send a pm if you want to go, and anyone else for that matter, sunday should be real nice.

I'll be down for Sunday if weather permits.
I've ridden around the Dover/Medfield area a bunch of times. I took 16 through Uxbridge and Douglas last weekend and ended up lost in Conn. somewhere in Thompson I think.
Finally found Rt. 44 and got home through North Providence. There were some real good roads down that way.

Farm St is like 10 mins away from my Condo. I've been doing a lot of riding in Sherborn since it's the town over from me. I ride that route all the time. Roads in Dover are wicked fun, but the cops suck. I know an insane turn in Sherborn it's good for dragging a knee if you're into doing that on public roads.

i think if you used a map and colored the route, it would be better for the people not familiar with these streets.

but if it's a really good road, listing on a public forum isnt the smartest idea.

Yes, more speed triples to take out on the streets. Mine is pretty bone stock so would be nice to see a triple with some pipes. I have only heard one online, in person would be great.

AM bump, anyone on here want to meet up, tell me if the dedham mall works for you, or any where else that is off the highway and route 1.

I am waiting for a buddy to get finished with errands, he knows these roads as I rode through the area only once.

I see a few people live nearby, brockton peeps and such, tell me what's going on.

Re: Spur of the moment ride out of dedham area

We had a good run today, with the stops and such still totaled 5 hours or so.

the weather was great and the sunday drivers were in effect. Next week if we do this, I think an earlier start will be needed so the blue heads are still in bed.

Met bonk from the site and met up with a couple of buddies. All in all a fun time.

will start a thread for next week or weekend soon.
