    STONNERSTOCK

Okay. I'd like to get people's FIRST impressions of their first Stonnerstock...

THEN, I'd like to hear people's experiences with Stonnerstock...

And I mean anyone who's ever showed for any part of this. Whether it was just for the cookout, , just to say hi, for the week, whatever. Let's hear it...

The 'Stonnerstock' thread last year was this boards longest thread, and it was pretty much all on-topic. Wanna bet this one will top it?

Nope, wasn't there I'm an FNG around here...but I will speak up to say that on way home from first ride w/you folks I was taking a break over coffee with Deg's, and he went on to say "Oh you gotta do Stonnerstock next year...!". So in light of what I heard from one of this clubs well respected members, it sounded like a party definitely not to be missed!

Hope this gives you an indication of its success, Stoneman.

Great stuff! Keep 'em coming! I can't wait 'til theothersean tells his story. The long version (about getting lost and only being a coupla miles from the house) is great. Puts a smile on my face every time!

    Thumbs up STONNERSTOCK

    Stonerstock kicks aasssss!
    2001
I saw the post for Stonerstock on another website and an invite for anyone. I thought what the hell this cant be that bad they seem cool enough so I signed up on the grub list and claimed my spot. Headed up there on a Thurs. night to arrive at a house with a bunch of tents set up in the yard and a bunch of friendly arse peeps. I had a fucking blast the whole time I was there and met so many new people it was awsome!
    2002
Had such a good time the year before I was there on a Tues. night to help jay set some shit up for the bash. And as expected I met a bunch of new people and a bunch of old faces which was really cool and of coarse had a fucking blast (tire in 6th gear in front of the band was fun ).
    2003
Will be there again to do it all over again and cheer the NESR race team on durring the weekend and of coarse the Rock run, Weirs beach run........

Some things you pick up on at Stonerstock
    1) EVERYONE has a smile on there face.
    2) Kiss Sean and Leah's ass because they deserve it for the culinary masterpieces they put together.
    3) If you need a hand with anything there is allways someone ready to help.
    4) You BEST say thanks and please or you will get squat
    5) The most important one...The Stoner family kicks ass so you better be respecting them and there shit!

Something to look forward to every year

Oh, where to start I've been to the last 3 stonnerstock events, honestly i can't pick 1 year that was better than another, they all have just been so fucken awsome Every year has it's memorable moments that come with drinking with some friends until 3am.
Last year proved that no matter what the weather, we would make the best of it and have just as good a time if it were nice out. The band was awsome, great food, great company, words just can't describe how good a time it is

Memorable moments from the past... errr
Don't let Sean near your bike with a camera
Why was i the only one getting fucked up when doing the shots?
Oh, if you want to play the water/shot joke on someone, make sure you use colored shot glasses and not clear
Cheryl's bed on the front lawn? hehe
Oh the fart machine, my little Spensor Gift Shop toy has brought many many laughs, the more you drink, the funnier it is

If you didn't make it in the past, it's a MUST DO in the future

Then he could crutch around the party......or get himself a wheelchair, take the totaled bike motor and mount it to a wheelchair so he can hit the burnout board.

Dood, i hope you have room for my new bikeweek camper/bike hauler this year

    I just scored a 1981 chevy 1 ton ambulance :o
The 7.3 big block engine should have no troubles with 2 bikes in the back and all the bikeweek gear.
This thing would make a killer racer vehicle

I am getting rid of stuff but this was one of those deals that was just to good to pass up, not that i would, but i could sell just the engine for twice what i paid for the whole vehicle:o

I don't know about the power thingy, there is a electrical control center in the cab that looks like a breaker box in a house? Sorry, the sireen is no longer there

    STONNERSTOCK

Well, first of all let me tell you this, when you print out the direction to stoners house off the website, make sure your margins are wide enough so you get the whole set of directions.

Year one: We had already made reservations at a campground for the week long before we knew of SRNE . Well we met jay through that website. We headed over to his house on wed from the campground ,only I didn't have the full set of directions so we rode the length of The BIG lake a couple of times and went the wrong way alot. I think I put roughly 200+ miles on the bike , but atleast the sceenery was nice. once we finnaly got in touch with him it was late so we headed back to the campground for the night. Finally met him on thursday, Liked the "vibe" so much we ended up going back to the campground packing up our shit and staying at jays for the rest of the week.
    Highlights :
The "Rockpile ride" up Mt. washington.
    The burnout board
Drinking with yer new found friends ( after the bikes are off the road for the night of course )

    Year 2
Was even better than the first.
Being that now we knew how to get there, we headed there early in the week , some of the old faces returned, and so did some new ones.
The taco feast on fridaynights is one not to be missed, and I don't think that any of the regulars are going to let me not put on that spread.

Typical tom foolery takes place at night once all the bike weekers return to the crib after their days adventures.

Such a diverse group, some go to the track, some the weirs, others go for rides . It was fookin hot so some of us packed some snack food and found a covered bridge to go swim under.

    Year 3
Well the weather didn't coperate but a good time was still had. A lot of new faces showed up and the "regulars " as well. First year with a live band, it rocked.

I do need to say this though, When you sign up to bring something to the party, and for one reason or another you can't make it that day, pick up the phone and call JAY so one of us there can run to the store to go get it.

AND what ever you decide to bring, bring enough for atleast (80) people. We ran out of food last year. Even if only 40 people show up for the party, there are always "midnight munchies" to get rid of the leftovers.

The plain and simple thing is that JAY and CHERYL open up their house and yard to their friends and perfect strangers for bike week. They don't ask for anything in return, you don't have to pay them to use their electricity, water hot shower, toilet etc.......

Some simple rules are set forth and if you bring a guest, you need to tell them about whats kewl and not.
As I said before it doesn't cost you anything but we ALL like to pitch in at the end of the week to help to keep this thing alive for years to come...........

My biggest and probably only complaint for this year was that the newbies didn't seem to want to help out when it was needed, remember, this isn't a catered party for you, it is a group effort , and while I don't ask for help preparing any of the food, don't disapear when it comes time to clean up, you ate the food and from what I'm told its pretty good. So please clean up after yourselves and help out if needed, if 40people at a party help clean up, it takes 3 min. if 4 people have to do it it takes,,,, well you do the math............

All in all Stonerstock is a good time to be had by all if everyone is willing to make it that way.

See you all at the 2003 fiesta.............

oh yeh and don't do burnouts in the garage, bad things happen......................

Just wanted to share this email I just got with all the Stonnerstock faithful. It's clipped from an email I got from Jay of Purge DI...

"Thats great man, listen regardless about where we are
this summer we all want to do Stonnerstock...Remember
    that brother
    "

Good news, no doubt. Hopefully they'll be able to swing it...
