This year was my first year. I went because after doing bike week for many years solo, I wanted 'something' to do, you know, be a part of. A big ol' party seemed like fun and a chance to meet other people.
That we did.
And stayed.
In fact the band that played that night stayed too.
And so did all the guests.
In fact some of us kept showing up all summer.:D
In short it was a great time, Jay and Cheryl will make you feel like you belong at the party.
See you in June.
It's amazing what kinda flat spot you get with that damn thing.
Yeah that was pretty cool when ya pulled in and did the burnout before you even shut the bike off:drink:
Awsome news that the band wants to come back:beer:
Jay made me do it.:D
Yeah, food, that was funny. I didn't know how many were going to be there, just that you would be hungry.Quote:

I'll do the pasta salad again.
And the burn-out.
One of my favorite memories from that night was doing burn-outs at like 1am and flinging rubber on the ceiling.
This year I'd like to go for a midnight ride too. RandyO?
Oh, and the rock pile on a good day. Jay knows the traffic patterns, maybe he could get us up there on a not-so-Harley afternoon.
We do the Rock Pile ride on Friday, 'cuz Thursday it's ONLY open to bikes. Ya wanna talk about Harleys? Try it on Thursday, you'll damn near stall following those slow fucks...
How long does it usually take to go up?
Thanks,
Ben
It's WHEELIE time! :DQuote:

From my place it takes a better part of the day. Ya gotta remember, there's a TON of traffic; there's usually about 20-30 bikes with us; we ALWAYS end up following couches up the mountain; and we're ALWAYS totally hungover...Quote:

I dont know why you need to ask peoples opinion about your own event.
I thought this event already built up a huge rage, especially after a kick-ass live band last year/ dispite the rain. It is always a f'n blast!
The only complaint I have from this past party, is that some newbies and a few other, left unmentioned did not feel the need to help with cleaning up and taking tents and such down. There was about ten of us working hard Sunday morning throwing trash out and taking the tents down while about 6 or 8 unmentioned stood around watching and talking. Thanks to you people for the support.
BUT A SERIOUS THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO DID HELP.
