Sunday 7/26 Coastal C-pace Ride

I know there are a lot of rides going on this weekend but I have been craving some Maine Lobster!

Was planning of doing a Coastal ride starting in Salem, Ma Following 127 up the coat to Gloucester. From there make my way up to Salisbury/Hampton and follow the coast all the way to the Nubble Light house York, Maine...(Or even further up to Old Orchard Beach cuz i've never been depending on how long it takes!!!??? Kenn157 did a similar ride recently and I'm hope you can join us)

Then get some Lobster in Maine Chill by the beach for a min and head back to Bolton on all back roads. I am looking to put some miles on since i didn't ride all last weekend!

I want to leave Salem, Ma by around 8-9am so when we get to Hampton it is not a shit show and we make it to Maine by lunch.

I'm hoping the Usual Suspects will join...

Just an FYI Hampton PD are out in FORCE with decibel meters @ the beach and the roads leading out in both directions... I have to work at the FD until 730 am on sunday so I dont think you guys want to wait for me haha... have fun, be safe... see you tuesday?

I can attest to this as I live right on the beach.

They have been stopping motorcycles like crazy. I see at least two stopped in front of my condominium every day.

A little trick: only let the clutch out to get enough power to keep you rolling.

Any motorcycle is not loud when the clutch is pulled in.

Salisbury 1An, then go up 286 to RT1n... Last week was the worst traffic in 30 years. We aviided the coast all together. Then picked it up in Portsmouth then Kittery. NOTE!! Tall Ships this weekend in Salisbury. I'm sure it'll add more traffic.

Okay, first off that bride is complete.

Here is a quick route to avoid the traffic and police presence on the strip: http://tiny.cc/hXAgr

Just remember that you avoid Hampton, but Rye is hit or miss. There usually isn't much LEO presence. Before you hit O. Point just beware of the pull off spots.

That is the way I would go from Salisbury Beach to 1A through Rye, into Portsmouth and back onto 1A. Remember this will get you the most scenic of rides as opposed to taking 1 all the way.

Side note: if you look at the map you will see that I routed you onto 1B. I like 1B just because it is just something a little extra that is nice and coastal.
