A few of us Metrowest Sportbike Riders are meeting in Natick, MA and currently plan to ride into NH.

Sunday: Cloudy in the morning then off and on rain showers later in the day. High 68F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

Looks like we can make it through with no rain in the morn, how long of a ride are you planning for? It does look chilly though, 57 in the morn, only up to about 64 at noon, so I may have 13 or 14 layers on, but I am going to do my best to get my butt out of bed to be there for 7. Someone give me a wake up call at 6ish, lol

I think I am out, after riding today and being chilly in 70 degrees, 52 is not sounding so great. I would say most likely count me out unless it gets surprisingly warm all of a sudden

Don't listen to fasterthanwho either 20 degrees my ass only thing he is doing when temps drop to 20o is putting wood in the woodstove He would need toaster ovens on his hands to ride in that shit


It's not cold enough to stop yet though, I could wear my UA Cold Gear under full leathers in this weather and only be just warm enough. My limit used to be 33o now I'm up to 45o and it's too cold

nah, I wont stop riding yet, just not so early in the morning. It still gets warmer during the day. Ride has to be enjoyable, and shivering for 3 hours just isnt my idea of enjoyment.

Hmmm do you suffer from seasonal depresion too?
Just the thought of winter, lack of SUN and warmth can send me into the blues

I actually snowboard a ton in the winter (hate the cold, but the boarding addiction outweighs it). But in the interm before the snow hits it is a bit on the depressing side

not joking and i do have witness to back me up on this, yes i do ride in sub-freezing weather, and yes i am outa my mind. just love to ride and the gas millege is great

Hey fasterthanwho, I am just kidding with yah I too used to ride till the snow fell. I am wiser now or is it older now well older is wiser right, I forget what "they" say but I don't ride in the cold like I used to.
