Not to be downer...just so everyone is being realistic...the resturant on RT 25 is about 2 hours and 15 minutes from Boston riding the slab. Just make sure that you all factor that into the ride back..

Sounds like there may end up being two rides this weekend? I will be interested in seeing what congeals here, both sound interesting. I will adopt a wait and see attitude, but certainly if the weather is nice I would be up for riding in some form or another on sunday. Given the choice, I would tend to lean towards the smaller (as in less riders) more laid back ride, because I've found I enjoy those most.

So if you don't like me make sure you get lots of people to show up and ride aggressively

I'm out there is no way I will make it to hampton for 10. I am down towards the cape more about a 45 min to an hr ride from the allston/brighton area. I may go for a ride down towards the south I guess.

I'll ride, but I need a rear tire. I may be getting Squids rear tire when he replaces his this week. Just need something for the rest of the season as I am not buying a new one now and not running my track tires on the street. Squid when are you bringing your tires to GBM to be done? I'd need to get mine done saturday to make the ride sunday.

Plenty of those raging fires close to me if you want to give it a whirl. I am outty tomorrow as long as flights dont get fucked up again.. This place looks like hell right now, so I am ready to come home!!! Breathing is difficult, there is limited vision, and ash is flying through the air like snow in the right winds. Plus I am in the dead center of all the fires and I want out before it closes in before they can stop it.

Or right in Allston/Brighton/Watertown/whatever.

If this group remains as is, the 128 rest area in Lexington will be good.
Does anyone know how far it is from there to the Hampton meeting point?
I believe 95 N will take us there….in case that’s correct, the 128 meeting area is PERFECT!
