    Killington Classic

This years Killington Classic bike rally is upon us. Starting tomorrow, Thursday the 4th and ending sunday the 7th. Killington's chamber of commerce took over the reigns from the kev-marv production guys this year. That means, more bikes, more venders, more rides, more crap to do ect...

They are still doing the 'parade' down to rutvegas, with a free ticket to the vt state fair.

Now the parade is fun, police escort ect... but as you know/guessed its mostly all crusers, going 30, all the way to rutland. But, like wheelies, burnouts and the vermonster at ben/jerry's , you have to try it atleast once for the experience!

It would be nice to get a group of us together to head over/down/up (wherever you are coming from) for the parade on friday, or even just head down for the festivities. The city of Rutland closes a few streets downtown and turns them into a massive motorcycle parking lot.

If its a long haul for you, and you would like to spend the night, i've got a guest room, couches, and lots of floor space.

For more info on the classic, check out - Killington Classic Motocycle Touring Rally

I have only one response to that.

I'm in. I can ride 30 MPH to Rutvegas on 7 valves (although I'll hopefully have another rocker arm installed and be up to 8 valves by the weekend).

If you get something set-up, I'll show.

I mean free tickets to the fair is something I just can't pass up.

Is it Demolition Derby night at the fair also. ?

Well, I did elect to ride in the parade, and it was interesting (in a cool way, mostly, although the whole side-by-side riding thing kinda sketches me out, so I just dropped to a slight stagger on the guy next to me). There are definitely some cool bikes around, and there was actually another Ninjette in the parade (about five-ten spots behind me were a couple of folks who I talked to a bit while we were lining up; the guy had a green/orange race Ninja and the woman a 250 that was damn clean). Pics will be posted later, or maybe tomorrow.
