Todays Ride Crash - Warwick

It was good to meet everyone today in Warwick (Kevin, Dustin, Ed etc). I have really cut back on my riding lately

For those on SevensGT's ride today, who went to the hospital...
The rider (Dave) on the 2003 GSXR-1K who was in an accident is fine, only a bruised shoulder. A truck made a left turn in front of him. Dave grabbed the brakes hard, doing a stoppie, but the bike still collided with the side of the truck. Dave, the rider, went flying in the air and landed on his shoulder. He was wearing a leather jacket, jeans and a helmet. The driver of the truck was at fault and was given a ticket.

Luckily, Dave met up with everyone at the gas station, and then went home to put on his jacket and jeans. He was riding with a t-shirt, shorts and No helmet earlier!

The salesman thought he was crazy for buying a GSXR-1K as his first bike.

Wear your gear!

He was lucky it happpened on the way back rather than on the way home to get his gear. Glad to hear he was okay. Maggie and myself were almost thinking about not wearing our jackets today, I'm glad we decided to after that incident. You don't get to pre plan crashes, shit happens.

You need a trackbike? hehe. Everyone was joking about who would get the parts. I think someone already has the chrome rims...J/K. Bike not for sale.

Crack in frame, bike will have to totaled and da poor bike just had 600 miles on it. Got pictures, but not posting them.

Rider will buy new bike.
