twas the day before Xmas

Twas the day before x mas , so we went for a ride.





It was chilly for sure but we bundled up. I could have used that heated vest I just bought , but it won't be here for a few days anyway.

The open spaces exposed to the sun have melted a lot but the more wooded areas are still burried , so no off road ADV for us today.




We stayed close to the house and just kept adding small loops









All the sand on the roads and the ice in spots gives you good practice at throttle control, thats for sure. Small inputs are the key.



This road turned to soupy dirty, icey mess, which was fun until it dead ended and we had to U turn on the snow pack / ice. Obviously we made it back.






We were only out for about and hour and a half but its cold with out heated gear.

It was good just to get out for a while.

Hopefully I can get another ride in before this year is over, and start a new riding year in a week or so.

that's exactly what I was thinkin on the kanc on saturday when the bare wheel tracks disappeared for a mile or so

only at the lower elevations

the reindeer got their wings at higher elvations
