VT Ride 7/17, anyone else on vacation?

Hi everybody. I'm kind of new here but I figured I'd see if anyone else would be interested on going on a VT ride Thurs 7/17. I know it's still a week away but so far the (long range) weather forecast is okay. I have a somewhat ambitious route planned (400-500 miles) but would be willing to alter my plans a bit if someone would be up for a ride that day. Thanks.

I'm going to head up to VT on 7/18 for the weekend. I could ride with you that day.

I'm taking friday the 18th (my birthday) off but I'm not going to take thursday off.

Keep this thread going and let me know when you decide what you are hitting. Depending on where you are headed - I think that I have a short route that you may find fun and interesting. If you hit this route during the day and it is a nice day - I woul dbe more than happy to join. I am always looking for excuses to hit Route 17. It's fairly short between 116 and 100 but the best road that I have EVER been on. I think that Zup33, Snaggle and Jankster would be willing to back me up on the quality of this road. I work 2nd shift (4p-2a) so I could join if it was midday. Let me know where you are thinking of heading and you may have me and Zup33 join in.

I could certainly meet up with ya'all there. I've never been there before so it would be nice. It would require some small changes to my original route but that is fine by me. Just let me know. I assume I can get directions off the B&J website? I know it's right off RT100, right?

OK. You let me know of a time when you are going to be in the Northern most part of the ride (i.e. if you are going to go to B&J's, and that is as North as you are going, what time are you going to be there?). We are talking about Thurday too right? Sorry, I am trying to coordinate rides on I think wed and Thurs and since I have been out of town for the weekend - I am getting confused. The other people that I am getting out with may be riding Thurs too, which would be fine cause then we could just ride together and I wouldn't have to worry about work. Email and board I can check periodically throughout the night. Let me know what you thoughts are. Since you have the long ride here and this is 'your' ride, let me know what you were thinking of doing and I can accomidate your ride (at least I can try to). I don't want to muck with your plans since you're comin from MA. Think of it as me joining you for a couple of miles...

Well, just got back (left at 8am, back at 7pm). 445 miles on the trip odometer. That was fun; and thanks, Will, for showing me that nice stretch of road.
