Vt. ride Saturday July 3rd...

Weather seems to be looking decent for this weekend.

I’m thinking about getting a nice ride into Vt. Saturday morning.
My plan is to leave Rindge (Shell station on Rte. 119) and head into Brattleboro on Rte. 119. In B’boro I’ll pick up Rte.9 .

From 9, I’ll take Rte. 100 (Great ride if you never done it). From Rte. 100, I’ll take Rte. 8 (Awesome twisty road through Green Mountain National Forest) which brings us back to Rte. 9. and I’ll just head back on 9, to 119 once again.

The pace will be determined by you! Meaning you ride your own ride! We won’t leave anyone or lose anyone, and I’d prefer not to have to pick up anyone’s bikes. However, once I get onto Rte. 100, the pace will pick up to a spirited romp!

I haven’t done this route in a while, so I don’t know how long it will take, but we could count on a better part of the morning/early afternoon…

Not a bad thought, but I hate riding Rt. 2...

119 is a great ride and puts me right into B'boro without any slabbing... It's also right outside my door...

what time are you riding through Hinsdale NH? I could come up Rt 78 from MA and be waiting for you at the rite-aid which is on the corner of rt 119 and rt 10.

Don't know for sure yet, I'm thinking leaving Rindge about 9, or 9:30. It will depend on who else, if anyone else joins. I know exactly where that Rite Aid is, and that's about 40 mins from where I'll be leaving from.

I don't have a policy on wheelies. I'm not the one doing them...

I'm a firm believer in you ride your own ride. As long as no one's around that could be taken out if something went wrong, do what you gotta do...

Greg and I will be riding up from Boston which looks to be about 75 miles away... I know that shell station, we rode by it last weekend.
Hey Kenn and Eric, if you guys end up coming to do want to meet up in Lowell or something (like the Chilis that Cheese met at last weekend) and head to the meet spot together?

The Shell station is on the corner of 119 and Annett State Park Road.

You might be thinking of the Citgo station that's at the crossroad of Rte's 119 & 202?
