    Watching Moto GP Cambridge/Somerville/Boston area

Is there a group of riders who watch Moto GP at local bars in the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville area.
Talk about bikes, drink some beer, and watch the races.

Call me bananas, or a pessimist, but I feel like it'd be hard to convince a bar to put moto gp racing on a screen... but good luck!

Yea at least it's not football season. I feel like Parlor Sports or the Thirsty Scholar in Inman Sq would put it on at least one tv. The question is if they have the BeIn channel. It's not on Fox Sports this year right?

That's a great idea! I have seen a bunch of bars have BeIN sports. I know that most some of the Latin American restaurants/bar who show a lot of soccer carry BeIN sports. I was surprised La Casa de Pedro at the Arsenal mall had BeIN Sports on showing soccer when I was there last.

I'd be down for this if someone finds a spot.

Another option is to find a place that will allow someone to hookup their laptop or phone and stream via web.

Who was there for the great USGP Party at that bar in Boston that a13x put on with Red Bull?

    That was sick.

So we obviously missed Marquez's dominance at COTA, but i am currently talking with Ben at Aeronaut brewery to screen races over a projector in the foods hub space of the brewery. Will most likely get in contact with J. at Madhouse Motors and start a facebook page to get the word out.
One important question is what time do the 8am European races air on the Northeast? and can you watch videopass motogp after the live event if the air time is too early?

If you go to the calendar on MotoGP.com and pull up the race you want to watch, click "schedule & results" and you'll see race times both with your time and local circuit time.

They also post links to the races shortly after they're over so you can watch them whenever.

If you just start a little late, you can back up the live feed.

As of now it looks like 12 to 130 they will give us the food hub space at Aeronaut brewery to project the races on April24th. Will have to watch a recorded version but if people are down let me know.

Got the space and time reserved. Will post these around and Madhouse motors said they will promote it on their facebook page, since i gave up facebook years ago.
