So who signed up for what?
I imagine I'd sign up as a "regular participant" for Mon/ Tues based on what I see on Cornerspeed's site...
:dunno:
Anyone care to offer anything more about this?
Also, I'm picking up two engines while I'm in the area so I'll be hauling my trailer down where I can fit the crate/ pallet/ whatever in.
If any of you require some extra room for anything trip-related, I'll have room.
So I guess it's almost official...as of right now, I'm almost going....call it 95%
Correct...as a 'Regular' Participant you will be taking the Cornerspeed School which will provide you with a race license upon successful completion. (If you already have a certificate from Penquin or other recognized organizations you can sign up for the Enthusiast.)
Matt...what's the headcount at this point - for lodging in the Motorhome? Thinking Jim and I will get a suite. And a garage too...and anyone who wants to chip in $25.00can share!
Me and Wookie Are Going with you guys, We already resrved a suite for him and I (to remedy to congestion for sleeping in the Winnie, I ride better when I sleep in a bed and get real rest anyway.) We would like to Pitch in for your garage rental however (my racebike is Total loss electrical and needs to be plugged in between sessions)
+1 - a set of rains if the weather looks iffy.
OK..Matt, my friend Jim just bailed....his employer is treating him like an indentured servant and he just found out he can't get away.
So, now what's the head count...
Would anyone want to split a Suite with me? I have stayed in them a couple times...very nice...two Queen beds. $99.00 a night/2 = ~$50.00/night x 3 nights (if we leave Weds) for total of $150.00each. Add the garage and it's $200.00 more but we can have others chip in who want to use it...
If I can get a ride, and a bike transport, and this is a track day Ill take the vacant spot.
Should be fine.
Is the box overly large?
I'm gonna do a test run on loading the trailer this weekend to see exactly where I'm at for room.
Dave-Katy's coming down too so maybe the three of us could split a room with one king bed instead...:naughty...just a thought...
My room is full already!
:frown:

I have a seven spot trailer with a V nose lined up but not confirmed due to the rate to rent it ....$ 79 a day with a minimum of 10 rental days. good thing is it's a new '07 trailer with all the tie down anchors installed! just need chalks for our bikes. bad thing is it's an additional cost i had hoped to avoid.
Is this price ok with all going in the RV? There is a $500 refundable deposit which I can put on a card.
let me know.
I know ther are others looking to go but the trailer package has forced a limit. sorry to those looking for transport.
From the posts above Dave .... Dan ..... Bergs .... Wook .... are all in suites and gayragggges
this about sums it up
any questions ask
Matt,
They can't adjust that rate at all??
IMO, that's huge money for such a short period of time.
See if you can go for something like $85/ day for the time you'll need it.
They should be able to work with you on their rates.
It'd almost be more economical to scoop something off Craig's List...ya know?
Also, quite honestly, why pay extra for the v-nose anyways?
Is the extra space really worth it?

I'll add my name once I'm confirmed with Aaron.
Funny thing about Aaron is I sent him an e-mail around 9 last night with a question and he responded within 12 minutes!
12 fricken minutes at 9pm on a Friday!:spit:
if I can work out my transportation situation I'll be there.
Bergs ===> I 'm going to need the trailer for at least 6 days .... pick it up thurs so I can do my preps and if I bust balls and get it back to the guy on wed eve he doesn't care the company has a minimum 10 day rental program. besides that the place is 10 mins from my house and its a brand new 2007 trailer already set up to transport bikes ( floor anchors, threaded drop ins for wheel chalks). If you know of any one else with better stats ( one where if it has a cheaper rate but requires 4 hours of prep and $$$ for the strap anchors and chalk recievers in the floor ) please let me know
I have an ad on craigs list ...only got one response.
Dan ===> yeah sorry I forgot Pitt's real name.
*changes list*
Sorry Carlton :mecry:
Sent money....waiting for the mail to get to Aaron and then confirmation.:metalman:
Here's where I'm at:
I have room for a few things so if there are extra tires, gas cans, parts, whatever, that won't fit in with the RV I'll have some room left over in the trailer....don't get too crazy though as I'll already have my tools and supplies as well as two bikes.
No space in the bed of the truck...it's reserved for the two motors I'm scooping up.
Matt- I haven't found anything on the trailer-front just yet. I put the word out to some friends so I'll likely have an answer sometime over the weekend.
Is there a solid meet time or leave time planned? I was thinking of just rolling out when the RV leaves.
Matt - we are good to go with my friends trailer. $250.00 and he will deliver it to Litchfield NH on or before March 22nd. You can pick it up here then I will ride with you back to your place where we meet up with everyone else. Leave at dawn on Sunday as planned.
You are checking on the electric brakes...???
