Is there a 4/29 ride in the making???

Early Sunday rides seem to be the most open for everyones scheudual. lets do another. maybe this time we can head to western mass. and pick up the pace a bit.
ANYONE????
let me stress right now. I'm not going to be the trip/event planner on this one. The original route for the 4/22 ride might be a good one to check out.

Yeh, we should do Western Mass ride! I think the area is less populated over there, so I would expect less cagers slowing us down

Im all for supporting our racing friends, but Id take a day of riding twisties over riding up to NH and back anyday

Lots of road damage in areas of W. Mass. south of Rt.2. Plenty of sand, too. That special gray color that blends in with the pavement so well. There's sand in areas where I've never seen sand before. And you're likely to see oncoming vehicles veer into your lane at times, to avoid some of the recent errosion damage. Hopefully the coming rain this week will wash some of that dust off. Conditions are definitely not good for 10/10ths.

How about a Bean run? That'd keep us in southern New England, where the snowfall was the least and there would less likely be sand left on the roads.

Sunday sounds good to me. I'm in on this one. Screw the sand... after Sat's run with James were all pros at surfin the sand dunes now.

Were ever you guy's want to go is fine with me. Time and place to meet and thats it.

Ned if you want me and "D" could meet you in somerville first and then pick up Wookie. Just let me know guys.

If you all head out here to W. Mass Im def in to meet up w/ya! I hit Rt 2 last weekend and it was nice, but some of the surrounding backroads do have some sand issues. Ride smart, should be ok.

I mapped out a route on GroupRider. It starts at the D&D in Foxboro and goes through RI to the Bean in Pomfret, CT. It would probably need some tweaking, since the last 1/3 of if retraces the first 1/3 of the ride.

I was out at the Bean last Sat. the roads out there are fine. We should keep heading west from there or north. I ride those roads so much they get kinda boring after awhile. Not to mention Johnny Law was out in force due to the good weather. The bean is a great place to stop and rest for a quick bite and drink, but lets not make that the destination point.

The lead is always discussed. I actually hate leading. I always feel that I'm going too slow for the group.

I actually prefer being in the back. That way, I see everything that's going on w/ the ride.

Is there a 4/29 ride in the making???
