A huge variety of bands - Cajun, R&B, Andean, Reggae, Irish, Quebecois, Salsa, Blue Ridge piano, and more...

Great food - Tents are set up by local ethnic organizations with the foods from a variety of cultures. Lowell is an immigrant community with something like 80 different ethnic cultures that have have settled there since the first mills were built.

Listen to great music, eat real ethnic food, hang out on a sidewalk cafe with some friends and a beer or two, the Lowell Folk Festival is one of the most fun and relaxing ways ever to spend a summer day.

I do believe I'm gonna be there... We were thinking of rolling over in an hour or so. Some break dance crew at 4:30 followed by some of the reggae. Actually what I meant to say was "Boombaclot! I and I gwan be dere"

Thinking I'll stop in for a few beeyahs at the Worthless and then roll over.
