With the way one of my neighbors have been leaving their 3 yapping fuckhead dogs outside at all hours of the night and letting them bark til sunrise, those will be absolutely essential, Greg.

We have to get that mailbox rigged up.

Plus, it'll be fun shooting in the dark. Mark the targets with glow sticks and fire away! Hell, I'll even break out the night vision for this special occasion!

We MAY pop in for a spell, but NYE things are tough with the kids in tow. We enjoy drinking FAR too much. So we MAY swing by early on, then venture to more non-travel environment...

I'm not big into guns, so excuse my ignorance. But tracer rounds? You can get those? That sounds like the shit

I'm gonna be in central NH for a wedding new years eve day & overnight. You guys wanna come crash it? Or maybe I should bail on the wedding.

<wife>Why are you bringing our christmas tree, guns and fireworks to the wedding?</wife>

The one that drives now (step daughter just turned 20) lives in Manch now and wants nothing to do with us unless there's a financial reward...

Your invitation is to bring a Christmas tree and we light it on fire.

This is off topic, sorry, but I saw one of the dog barking things that makes the high pitched noise when they bark at Radio Shack for like $20 this weekend. Works on batteries, might be worth a try.

    I like my idea better.

Three loud barks from my house and suddenly things are quiet for good.

Re: New Year's Eve Christmas tree bonfire

So, let's revisit this thread for moment now that New Year's Eve is fast approaching.

People, the idea here is to bring a Christmas tree to throw in the fire. The idea is not to tell me that you're not going to bring a Christmas tree but will still show up. There are a couple people who are the exception but for the love of Christ, people, help me help you here! If you got the tree to your house then please plan on strapping that dried up fire hazard one more time to the roof of your car, truck, jetpack, I don't care....or better yet, let me know if you are anywhere between Concord, NH and Nashua, NH and I will make the time to pick it up myself.

Also, one other thing that was brought to my attention is the type of fire some folks think we are having. With a town fire official 3 doors down the street, a 75-tree-at-once bonfire is not going to happen and for that I apologise. Sure, a few trees and 25 foot flames are fine but what a let down it's going to be when all the trees are burned up within an hour, don't you think?

The explosions and gun shots are easy to deal with. I will blame my next door neighbor. No worries there but for crying out loud, if no one brings a tree then it'll just be people drinking and shooting guns and we already did that at the open house!
