Late night Boston bicycle ride?

Riding Dan's fixed gear bike last night at pose night made me realize that I really want to go on a fun group pedal through Boston late some night. It's really fun tooling around in the city, and I know there are a few bicycle fans on here.

Anyone game?

I'm down. I know of some good 8 sets with flat rails.
FOx25 had a broadcast the other day that said boston was one of the most dangerous cities to ride a bicycle in. So lets be sure to wear our gear.

As long as this is the type of pedaling your talking about +me. I spent many a day destroying bikes and bike parts in Boston. I wonder if the Fenway jumps are still there? Its been a few years since i had the motivation to pedal a bike.

I was thinking more about just cruising (I have skinny tires on my bike), but anything is cool.

No clue what an 8 set is... if it is more about zipping around town, over hill and dale, through alleys, etc. I am up/down for it. My road bike is the only one that is fully together atm, so definitely no jumps for me. I guess with any of my other bikes for that matter... I just don't jump.

I will drink and ride though. Does that help?

Good question, I'm not sure if their still around. I know of some trails in Peabody, but have mainly been riding park lately.

I'll be on my freak mountain bike + skinny tires, some BMX it sounds like it. Bring what ya got!

If I was even in the STATE, I'd bring the DEMO 7 out for this ride. Someone needs to represent the no-holds-barred long-travel heavy-bike downhill racing scene!

Hm... I could throw slicks on the hardtail. Give me the ability to keep up if guys show up with fast bikes, but some sticky rubber rather than the knobbies. Only problem w/ the BMX is if everyone else shows up on big wheelers I'd get killed trying to keep up.

I like dirt jumping, but I do it on an old school DK General Lee (frame, rest is built piece by piece). I never could get into jumping anything bigger than 20" wheels.

I haven't ridden boston for a few years so I can bring the big bike out - old Ironhorse sgs dh but if we get to any hills I'm throwing a rope to the back of Femmekat and getting a tow up.
