Just wanted to let everyone know I put the bike up for the winter today. The ceremony started by me locking the front brake up, pulling in the clutch lever, winding her up to about 8k then dropping the clutch finishing off the Mich. PP. I also smoked it long enough to press my "horn" button for the air box to fogg up enough to get the NOS in the system to really finish the tire off right! Oh yeah I also ran some stabil through it and hooked up the battery tender and tucked her into a nice heated basement.![]()
hahahhahahhahaah that's awesome. I don't care what they say about stretched bikes. I'm always up for a smoke show.
I de-summerized my jeep this weekend, my studded Karoo Ts won't go on the V-strom till after Thanksgiving

Wow I think your the only person on this site who doesn't hate my bike. Thanks! PS- To all you knee draggers out there I leaned it over enough to scrap my kickstand (aftermarket roaring toyz) this spring while breaking in my new, now spent rear tire. However, I wasn't able to achieve "knee dragger" status because my knee never actually made contact with the pavement. So is this worthy of me getting a free pass into your little circle?
+8 inches with the links she stays pinned pretty well. The only time I have ever had issues is with a cold tire coming into it to strong tends to spin out, even if there is no lean. I'd rather have the power stay on the ground as opposed to the front coming up which looks cool but hurts the overall quarter et
Hard to believe you wore out a tire in one season of Jiffy Lube to Home Depot runs.

Last time I did a tire roast before putting my bike in the basement for the winter (was in my bedroom at the time) , my room smelt like a smokeshow for the first month..not that it was a bad smellThen of course the tire took some of the carpet with it when I went to take the bike out again

It's easy to scrape hard parts when your bike is so low it hurts.
I don't hate it either, it's just not for me. When you get a bike that you wanna keep the cornering ability on, come find me. I'll be first in line to help you out, srsly.

I let the insurance company store mine indefinitely this year.
Was just busting chops and letting you know I was local to you. Not my thing but cool bike just the same. You must have avoided Seminary Hill all summer or I think you'd be missing some parts. Fucking mess is on my way to work... gotta love the tons of calcium chloride they dumped on it.
Check out Papa Wheelies when get around to finding a new tire.
