You might want to edit that Mr. Bike Night Founder. Ryan Cathrall/Rufus Design is our VTBN Photographer. While he is not there all the time (he's got some medical issues he's working through), right now he's the guy. If ya'll wanna change that, he's got no issues whit it, just be courteous to our current photography.

Shelby, if you feel like you can be there consistently to document Bike Night, then by all means, I'll talk to Ryan and see what he thinks. He would like to be there every week, but its tough for him. I like you're stuff, and if thats something you want to handle, that'd be awesome.

I'll bite... what makes an "official" photographer?

Am I stepping on toes by taking shots when I've got my camera handy?

I'm happy to share photography of Bike night... I'm currently looking for a job, as I have been since last May. My photography has taken me to Boston and all the way to Ohio. Unfortunately I never know when I'm leaving, so until I get a permanent job I can't commit to every week, although if I'm in the area you can bet I'll be there. I've also been looking into getting a remote and mount so I can stick my d40 on my bike and take pictures during rides

I don't think we have an "official" photog. It was just my way of giving props.

It's like Bill being the Official Crasher or Adam being the official ginger, or mark being the official touring rider...

Did Bill make you official or did I?

Settle down there, Mr Arizona. It is possible for more than one photographer to cover Bike Night, you know. Doesn't mean anyone is stepping on Ryan's toes.

Pardon the drama...I'm just the kinda guy that likes to give credit when credits due. Which, by the way Shelby. Your photo's are very good! I know that I tend to take things a bit more serious than others when it comes to some things.

Official means that in exchange for free advertising and sponsorship by VTBN, he would be present to take pictures, video, and provide these pieces of media to us for advertising, promo, video, and for personal use.

You know you're not, absolutely not. Anyone can take pics, post em up, whatever.

I'm settled quite fine, not upset, just looking out for someone who is involved in a verbal contract to be our official photography. So when the co-founder of VTBN states that an individual is our official photography when he isn't, makes my passion for integrity of information come out.
Im not opposed to anyone taking, posting, or providing pics of Bike Night anywhere or to anyone.

    Anyway...let the shit fly!

Sorry Shelby, I jacked your thread.
