Just went out on my lunch break and washed the bike! She was covered in bugs from my adventures this past weekend.

    No doubt.

However - If you want any love from Parker (maybe I should re-phrase that) - you need to crash in your yellow jacket - and continue wearing it years later...

Then I would have to wear my other yellow jacket...but it's too warm for that today. I just hope that Parker will still be nice to me.

Parker is nice to anything that moves. You're safe.... well, if Parker being nice to you can be considered safe.

    I miss bike night

    Hey guys!

Settled in nicely down here in Danbury. I even got out for ~150 miles on Saturday up to northwestern CT where I lived back in the 80's (high school). I miss bike night like crazy. I hope folks are enjoying Creemee (yes I know how to spell it) runs. Not sure if there's anything like that down here, but after this week, it won't matter anyway. I'm finishing Orientation and begin working next Monday.

Hope everyone has a very safe 4th of July! (Don't test the new doctors in the hospitals...we don't need the extra trauma experience just yet.) Rubber side down. See ya on the road!

    Cheers!

Sandy, glad to hear that you are getting settled in. I have to say, you missed a hell of a bike night tonight. Hands down the most bikes I have ever seen at Donny's on a Tuesday, and amazing weather to boot. Keep it safe down there!

I grew up in New York but not far from Danbury. Nobody would know what the hell a creemee is, we used to just call it Carvel, http://www.carvel.com/ even if it wasn't Carvel. Kind of like calling any cola a Coke. There used to be Carvel shops in pretty much every town in the NY, NJ and Fairfield County, they still exist but not nearly so many.

If you need a creemee fix and need to ask a local where to find one, just ask where you can get a Carvel. If that doesn't ring a bell, soft ice cream will work, as will custard, if you say frozen custard people will know what you're talking about but will assume you're out of touch(that's what my grandmother used to call it), but creemee will just get you a blank stare.

Yeah, I grew up in the DC area, and it was just known as soft-serve ice cream. I'd never heard of a creemee till I moved to Vermont.

Just upload the pics individually to Photobucket or wherever and link them in a post here.

I tagged a bunch of them on facebook.

Jo, just upload the individual pics to photobucket like you did last time. You can make a collage too if you'd like, but we won't be able to make it big enough on photobucket to tell what it is.

How are you able to tag the photos? I get no option to tag BBN photos at all.

Parker last night, 8pm: "I'm going to do the WRITE UP as soon as I get home. I can't wait."

Today at 11am: STILL NO WRITE UP.

LOL. We even had one guy show up on a bike WITHOUT a shirt on and with one of those skull-cap type helmets.

    That was... ...bold.
