Re: Doc's Garage tear down/ rebuild thread.

I'll post new pics tonight. It has a roof and the windows are in! Should get the garage door and siding today!

All that will be left is bringing the grade of the driveway up a bit and building a slight ramp into the garage.

Then there are a couple retaining walls I need to build to hold the driveway and yard up, and I need do the electical (with Odieoh's help) then insulate it, close up the walls, hang my cabinets, do the flooor and move in. WHew!

I have a 4 day weekend and hope to have alot done by COB Tuesday.

I've been riding by Doc's place every day and watching this thing fly up! In just about 3 days he went from the concrete structure to yesterday a full structure with roof, and it looked like it may have even been painted... Anywho it'll be wicked nice! Glad that this major project is wrapping up for you Doc, you deserve a break

    Ok Where were we...

    Where all the drainage goes

    They tore up my yard

    Crawl Space

    TODAY!

    Before

I still have work to do but the contractors are pretty much done (they need to grade the driveway, caulk and paint) I have a 4 day weekend and hope to do alot of it this weekend. (Doors for the crawl space, electrical, insulation, cabinets, floor...)

And a bigger garage! But mine's even bigger.

Looks like we both lucked out with awesome places to live. Seriously, Doc, congrats -- looks like a beautiful house!

I had seen a pic or two here and there, and remembered it was a pretty modern design, but I'd forgotten the details like the two-car garage.

Healing's coming along well. Thanks for the hammer-swinging offer! When I can finally get on the bike again next spring we'll have to get out for a ride or two.
