I Need some help with my Bike

Hey guys, i need to tighten my bike chain and replace my back tire, i think tightening the chain is an easy fix, but i don't have the tools or space to do it myself (i don't even know how to tighten the chain). And i',m not sure how hard it is to change the back tire. Could anyone help me put it on if i order it? Anywho... See you guys arround.

Yes, help is available. You can bring it by my house some weekend and we can spoon on the rear tire, or better yet, we can hit up Jason for some work space in his garage so we can stay warmer and use his air compressor. If he's cool with that.

always best to have a couple guys for a rear tire, not NEEDED, but someone holding the wheel helps positions it and the spacers and the brakes...... otherwise its sorta like stuffing a pissed off cat into a small bag, or dressing an uncooperative and suprisingly strong toddler. two people makes for way less sweating and swearing.

That would be fantastic Jason and Mark. As of now though do you guys know of any one who has a rear tire the would fit a '95 Yamaha Seca 2 (600cc), and would be willing to part with it? But for sure i definitely need to get my chain tightened. Jason or Mark will you guys be around on Sunday? I have all of Sunday free and can meet where ever to work on my bike.

I'm busy Sunday, but there's always next weekend. As for the chain tightening, we could just take care of that at/after Bike Night.

Sunday is iffy for me. Not sure if I will be free or not. Changing the tire next weekend might be better if you are not in a huge hurry.

yeah, tightening the chain is a snap as long as you pay attention and keep the wheel straight while you do it lol.

Off the top of my head I don't know anyone (other then a powersports dealer of course, rsm etc) with a tire for that. You should try to match the type of tire you have on the front. Not a huge deal probably, but they do set different tires up with different profiles and such. No point having drastically different profiles if you can help it.

From what I see yours should be a 3.50x18 for the rear rim. So what? 140/(60/70) - 18 (Not sure if you can run up to an 80 on that? Probably not.) Is it stock rim?

i think i have a bridgestone BT56 150/60/18 at home, descent tread left. I will have to look when i get home tonight if it is what you need and you are interested in it. you are pretty far away from me though, not sure how you would get it before this weekend, unless you want to drive!
