Was exploring a few towns I hadn't been to before and the border crossing yesterday, when on a blind curve I saw some jokers stuck one of those deer archery targets by the side of the road. Trying to get someone to panic and slam on the brakes? On general principles I braked as though it was the real thing and when I rolled within a couple dozen yards it bolted back into the trees.

Whew. Never seen a deer try to cross a road at lunchtime in 80ish degree weather. Other than that there are some nice sweepy roads up there, if a bit exposed to high winds.
