Yeah Cata, that probably was me. I turned on Swift off of Dorset at about that time. My classmate stayed on Dorset on his CBR600.

As for the mapping, it rides SOOO much more smoothly. There is still some afterfiring at very low RPMs and throttle positions, but I can make it a bit richer (or leaner if that is the problem already) if need be to play with that. The map I have programmed is providing significantly less fuel at 10 and 20% throttle way down low on the RPMS, so I may take it all the way (at 5% throttle and 3000-4000RPM). When riding on the open road, this is not and issue. When putzing along on Riverside in traffic...its still there a bit.

Any suggestions? Do I need to lean it out all the way down (and run the risk of stalling)? Thanks guys!

Doc, Sorry I missed you. I went out for about 3 hours yesterday, looping both north and south of town, so I didn't get back on NESR until this AM.

Suggestions: ride it around some more and then pull a plug or two and see what color it is. If it's white(ish) it means you're running lean. It's how we (Mark) determined that my ZZR was running a little lean and needed a rejet.

Or you could assume it is running lean if it has a free flowing exhaust and/or intake.

Yeah, that was actually how I determined it was running a little lean, and pulling the plug confirmed it.

I'd would say it's running fat on the low end and lugging it doesn't help and lean up top...... Run it and map it first then play with the shit. Cause you may not get it better or you may.......
