I know man...good roads are almost everywhere, but having a crew like we did, is few and far between. You still heading out to Utah?

Thats still the plan. I hope to be out there mid october.... If i like it and want to stay the summer, i'll fly back and ride out.. do a few track days at miller, and check out the canyon roads.

    Thanks for the quick invite.

Sunday is typically my riding day, but should have some mondays open as well in sept/oct. I may be able to get out this saturday afternoon but wouldn't be able to do an all-day ride.

If one was to meet at the appropriate VT border location, typically how long of a ride over and back is the road that shall remain nameless?

Let me know if you head out. I lived there for almost 8 years before coming out to med school, and got my start on the track at miller the first year it was built. Also, I can recommend some rides from SLC, and probably get you hooked up with some of my riding buddies if you're interested. Cheers!

    Thumbs up Re: T-Road Ride

Snake and Doc - thanks but couldn't break away in time for Saturday AM departure - maybe next time.

Managed to arrive late afternoon Saturday. Now I know the reason for the secrecy! Also explored L-road which I thought was good.

Met a pair of 600's from Quebec at a gas station, and they were looking for T-road by name. They said all the locals they asked didn't know of any such road. Of course I did not reveal the location.

Leaving at dusk, i thought the ride back over the app gap would suck...but in complete blackness with NO ONE else there it was actually quite enjoyable, and i could keep a decent pace.

Hopefully its just water over t-road, and not washed out!

A buddy of mine rode over to T Road on Sunday. The road exists but there are three sections that were washed out and are now gravel. I won't be heading over there any time soon.

    Great training for Pikes Peak!
Lil' gravel, bunch of pave, throw in an occasional turtle.

Oh...right, Pikes will be all paved for 2012.

+1 let's hope the county boys fix it right.

It was Mike N that scouted out the road. As you know, if he's uncomfortable on the dirt section it must be pretty sketch...
