Turns out i have to work tomorrow. Looks like Monday is the day. I will be leaving from Killington around 10:15

Just a reminder - this is a full gear, wear your suit if you got it - kind of ride.

I'd like to be on the boat before 1. But 1:15 is ok. If i get out earlier than expected, i may just head over and kick the gravel out of the corners before everyone else arrives...

    Re: T-Road Ride

Ill will be at the Bridge Restaurant before 1 and will head to the ferry line at that time in case everyone went ahead.

Hmm... on second thought, better make that "weather permitting." Looks like a 30% chance of rain pretty much all day here in Burlington and in Elizabethtown.

Great riding with you fools! It was great to lap it again and again and watch the growing number of black stripes on the corner exits following your crazy-fast selves through there.
And yes, that turtle survived the day unharmed.

Can't wait to see some of that video! Can you splice the different runs from different camera positions into one run with changing vantage point?

Glad you got that turtle out of the way!!!

Today was awesome! No wrecks, no cops, no rain during the spirited parts!

Thank you for coming down! It was great meeting you and riding with you! I hope you made it home dry! We got soaked!

I'm currently working on the video... way bigger than I thought. It's going to be a while...

    oh fiddlestix!

and I waited until 10:30p to give you plenty of VIDEO POSTIN' TIME...

I wanted to see my lard a$$ floggin' that "Old Mans Adventure Bike" roun' them corners.

The turtle was obvious... Did any of you see the dead snake on the center line? If you were going as slow as me, you would have seen it. Or am I just observant?

Now where is that shot of Dave wearing the bikini top?

    Re: T-Road Ride

    All Right....

I randomly logged on this a.m. and found this thread which had all the elements of "Too Good To Pass Up"

So not realizing that it would turn into 327miles, about 9hours, 3 cloud bursts and temps in the 50's! off I went armed only with the Old Mans Adventure Bike and a camera...

Not a cloud in the sky in Brattleboro, but it started looking sketchy round Ludlow and that flippin' 103 Mtn. is like 1500ft elevation? Brrr, call me a wimp, I flicked on the heated grips, I still had my summer shorty gloves on. I'm from the south, this Vermont 50's in August in just not RIGHT!

Met up with my new best ridin' buddies...

We make it to lunch and the fellas bring me right into a little home coming of sorts... Southern red clay, all the way up here. Funny part was Mr. Bread took his 999 through it on the way out, like he was a dirt tracker?

    Re: T-Road Ride

Lunch was interesting and all too time consuming. We made an impression on the locals...

We picked up the last of our foursome and made for the life rafts...

Bellies full and tanks topped off it was out to sea...

Dave had aspirations of Pastrana and figured with enough 6th gear, a good tailwind and one of Evil Knievils gauntlets, he could skip the ferry and just jump the waters!

    Re: T-Road Ride

we arrive at our playground and after a run through and back we hear the whine of a performance exhaust, an inline four and voila, a Cannuck Couple joins us. His English was pretty good, he was very fast and she looked at us like we were ax murderers. Coulda been Paul's Aerostitch suit, looked like old blood red, sketchy... He maintains it's tranny fluid. HMmmm

    Re: T-Road Ride

    Say Cheese time...

Lord we're ugly. No wonder the Canadian gal avoided us...

Then it happened, Dave came out.... Well, he revealed the secret to his stealthy speed...

Yes he wears a bra....errr bikini top....OK WOMENS UNDERWEAR! He maintains it makes him faster, I'll defer to my colleagues...

Wait, they want one too? Oh brother... Oh, see what I mean about that bloody suit?

We beat it back to the other side of the pond, ran into a downpour, passed fiddy million cars all at once (it wasn't illegal double yellows are only suggestions in VT, right?).

OK, I'm a wimp, it was freakin' cold on the way home! Insult to teeth chatterin' it rained on me the last 5 miles too!? Brrrrrr. 50's in August, Preposterous!

Thanks for the great time dudes.... Until next time
