was just at roadside at like 4:30. need to get some more stuff installed and went to see if they could squeeze the bike in next week. asked dan about tomorrow and he didnt mention anything about it being cancelled. could be he didnt know. i'm planning on getting there and even trying to get the ole lady to ride down as well. hope its still a go.

no rain, if any (only 30% chance) till after 7pm right now says the forecast. rode my bike into work this morning at 37 degrees, just so I could ride to RSM tonight.
I rode in this morning too. Friggin cold at 5:30, but it'll all be worth it. Or that's what I keep telling myself. I'll be at RSM at about 6. See ya all there!

Sorry folks, but the Boss at RSM said no go...we were good to go, but he decided about 10 min ago that he wants more employees at the shop so we are going to push it back AGAIN...ugh, to the 25th of this month.
No worries though, its the first one, so we'll get things ironed out and be rollin for next week!

I'll be on my way to the track, as I suspect several other folks will be (or I'll be in New Hampshire, if it's actually on the 26th). But thanks for making the effort to be the contact person on this one.
This kind of last minute bail makes RSM look bad. How much does it take to put one person on a grill with $30 worth of burgers / dogs vs. the income generated by 30+ bikes visiting the shop?
Pretty lame imho. Just my $.02.

Two weeks ago was a last-minute bail; this week it sounds like they never had a go-ahead from the boss (correct me if I'm wrong), maybe because he was trying to figure out if he could get staff to both handle the 30+ visitors and man the grill.

It was kinda last min all around, we've all been pretty busy, but I wanted to push for today, thought we could make it happen...I will call Mary again and alert her to the fact that next Tuesday is Memorial Day...Tony is under the impression that 2 people at the shop is not enough to keep the shop open...? Monday the 25th is Memorial Day, Tuesday the 26th is not (but it is the first NHMS TTD of the season). You had said the 25th in your post, and I wasn't sure if that was a typo or not.

You know, product walking out the door, fights, pushing old ladies down the stairs, etc.
It's the only reason I can figure for not wanting more business.
