    Re: Snow

There's no snow here in Burlington. As far as I know, it only snowed a little at the higher elevations. We haven't even had a frost yet in Burlington.

    Re: Snow

I know it snowed significantly on the mountaintops (Killington got like 10"), but I would guess that whatever snow they got in Huntington or Starksboro was the kind that leaves a dusting on the grass but doesn't stick to the streets at all.

It is not going to snow in Boston this winter because I bought a BMF snow thrower....

Somewhere I found a website that gives all kinds of snow data. The "average" first snow in Boston isn't until December 9th.

then RT 17 must look something like it does in my pic, maybe even more snow

the day I took that pic, there was no snow at the Gore Road, enuf to stick to the ground at about the picnic table corner and as you can see, the road was cleared with plows over the top

    Re: Snow

There were little snowbank remnants on Bethel Mountain Road when we drove across it in the cage yesterday, so there was accumulating snow to at least 2100' in places.

And yes, I skied on Saturday.

    Re: Snow

I drove through near-whiteout conditions in Washington, NH on Friday, almost got my 2WD car stuck going up a massive hill in 3-4 inches of mushy snow. It was gross and unexpected, but I'm starting to cozy up to the idea of another winter.
