    tire mounting/balancing

hey guys, looking to get a set of tires mounted/balanced on my extra set of wheels for the track bike before i get to the july 6th laps day. its super cheap to do it there, so i may just wait, but i figured i'd check and see if anyone knew of a cheap place to do it around the burlington area. that way i could roll down ready to go.

Talk to Mr Bellavance. I'm sure he'll chime in here shortly...

    Re: tire mounting/balancing

I noticed my weights fell off of my fjr1300 rear tire. I have not noticed any difference or vibration. How important is the rear wheel balance? Can anyone explain

Less than the front unless it is way out of whack. I never balanced the rear on the motard. No consequences. But I never was looking for longevity from slicks. Next time clean your wheel with a solvent that will remove grim and wax. Then put a small piece of duct tape over the weight when you get your wheels back. Sending them in clean and shiny gives them the mindset that you are fussy so they are apt to do a better job.
