Need to try on a suit!

    Hey guys...

Looking to see if anybody has a Joe-Rocket 1pc leather suit I could try on? Or if anybody has past experience with Joe-Rocket 1pc suits and how they fit..

    Specifically a size 44, 46, or 48.

I'm asking because an AGV 46 fits me great.. but i have somebody trying to sell me a Joe-Rocket 44 who says they run big. The AGV and Joe Rocket sizing charts online are almost identical... so it's tough for me to pull the trigger on a suit just by taking the guys word for it.

Let me know if you can help... thanks!

I'll have to see what size mine is. Its either a 42 or 44.

Its a great suit. I've got upwards of 15 crashes on it still hasn't worn through anywhere.

And yes, I inspect the suit for thin spots and what not...

I have a Joe rocket 46 and I can say it is more accommodating to some one with an athletic build than some Italian brands. Hope that helps a little.

If you guys don't mind me asking, what is your height, weight, pant size?

Looking at all the sizing charts out there, I'm starting to think I might have to get pants and jacket separately to get stuff that fits...

So do you think a size 44 would be too small for you?

    I'm 6-0" to 6-1", 175#, pants 33x33.

The guy with the Joe-Rocket (size 44) for sale claims to be 6-1, 215# and the suit fits him fine height wise, just too tight b/c of his "thickness"

A 44 would prob not fit me just because my quads are to big, and my shoulders are to broad. My 46, how ever has plenty of room in the midsection cuz I keep up with my fitness.

You've got 15lbs on me but everything else sounds about the same, I guess I'll shoot for a 46 from a place I can return it to...

    Sorry for hijack, OP.

Robbie and Joe at Cyclewise wear JR gear, and are dealers as well. They could help you out with getting a good fit, even if you're not buying it from them. JR is def. advertised as an "American Cut", and for your weight your a 44, but I think with your height, you are def. a 46 in AGV, A*, Sidi, Tecknic...depending on the model of the suit, a 44 might fit you really well. Good luck TS!

My 46 is long on me so height wise it would fit. Although a 44 might as well. Only one way to find out.

How tall are you? How does the suit fit?

My main concern with a 44 is that I will be too tall for it @ 6-1.

    Duh

Actually, just more loose fitting in the thighs, and chest/shoulder area...a bit more fabric for our gluttonous culture of excessiveness!
