You are receiving this because you were at last years event and or you have shown interest and I am hoping to get your participation in this years event. With your help we feel we can bring awareness to the general public and make a more close knit motorcycling community.
We are in the early planning stages of the 2nd annual Motorcycle Awareness/Safety day for Saturday April 18th 2009. **Date Change**
Last years even was great and we are looking to make this years event even better.
Details are needing to be worked out but what we envision is to expand on last years event and have more groups set up small displays (20x20) to show off bikes, equipment, and services INDOORS at the Champlain Valley Expo!! http://cvexpo.org/expocentre.aspx
Yes we are looking to book the Expo this year. A small fee will need to be charged per vendor. The more vendors the smaller the fee. (FYI, Just 16 vendors would make it $50 each). The Expo is giving us a HUGE break o the booking and they are very excited about building this event in the future. We feel this will add greatly to the event! Let me know if there are any concerns. As a back up we can still have it in the same spot as last year (Fanny Allen Parking lot)
If you cannot attend the event but would like to donate items for our raffle please contact me. Again this year Tony's trackdays is the first to donate for the event with a Trackday (a $250 value)!
This event will bring awareness to the local population that bikes are back on the road, promote safe riding and increase business opportunities. We hope to continue to sponsor this event Annually.

Our schedule for this years event is looking like this.
***April 11th will be our final day of planning. (most likely at the Expo) We will most likely do a site walk and try to get a final idea as to where people would like to set up and how the event will flow. 6pm.
***April 18th THE BIG DAY***
We envison vendors set up and ready by 9am, we will advertise that this event on local TV and radio and with flyers to be from 9am-4pm. We should be all packed up and out of there by 6pm.
The vision is for vendors to have new bikes, products and PPE (Helmets, Jackets, etcs) to show off. Maybe your shops would like to have raffles or flyers to hand out. We are working on possibly getting some "custom" bikes also. Depending on spacing we may have other events planned. (Slow drag races again?)
Anything you would like to suggest to make the event better would be appreciated. This thing is mushrooming from something small to quite a large event. Let's hope the weather holds. I hope to hear from you all confirming your participation soon.
