I am sorry to report that in this litigous society I will need insurance to the tune of a $1000 premium for 1 million in coverage to have this event at the Champlain Valley Expo. I found this out yesterday when I got the rental agreement in my hands.

I will still try and have the raffle and make a donation to the family readiness group.

There is no budget for this event. The fees for the vendors were going to cover the rental fee.

I am not willing to take this on.

I do not see having it in the Fanny Allen parking lot again as it was brought to my attention that I should have insurance for that as well.

I thank everyone for the hard work on this project and again I am sorry for any difficulties this might cause.

Just talked to Doc on the phone, I'm going to be doing some insurance resreach to see if we can put this together at the Fanny Allen Facility so we can keep this going.

I may have been a little premature...

I have a call out for more insurance quotes. If it proves to be less expensive I will ask about increasing the vendor fees to cover it.

If not we can keep the fees and still have it at the Fanny Allen lot but I will stiill have insurance.

What is funny is that the Slow drag race needs ins. Are you for real. Bikes driving around in a parking lot is faster than a slow drag race. WTF

Well oddly enough Mark said he wanted to get shot...but all in all it was a kickass fun and safe day.

The quick and sleazy is Doc got a decent quote for insurance, so the MAD is still on...we are trying to round up vendors to see who is still in and such...the biggest support we need is volunteers for the event itself. Doc's got the specifics, so if you are avaible to come and chill and check out stuff like Tommy Graves Customs and the Turn 1A race paddock, please PM Doc and put your name on the list to help out!

Land Air, Granite City Cycles, Green Mountain Harley, Tommy Graves Customs Turn 1A Racing, and The Classic Bike Experience are going to be the big players at the MAD Event, along with some sweet raffle prizes, as you all know!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE call, email, write, text, fax, or page ALL the people you know who ride, even if its a Vespa...get them to the Expo on the 18th!!!!
This has been a train wreck the last few weeks, and now that we have everything set up and good to go, it would be a shame to have low attendance.

We are going to need a good amount of help on the 18th for the Event. GET IN TOUCH WITH DOC ABOUT VOLUNTEERING FOR THE EVENT!

I am putting $1200 worth of rental fees and Ins on my credit card. So it is still happening.

If anyone knows of Vendors that would like to attend I am still accepting them.
