Got it! the old one, and some cool info as a bonus:
Warren's Lincoln Gap Covered Bridge - 1880
The Lincoln Gap Bridge crosses the Mad River just east of Route 100 at Warren Village, about one mile north of west-bound Lincoln Gap Road. The sixty-two foot structure, ten feet of it gable-end overhang, is one of two queenpost bridges in Vermont in which the truss interior and exterior are completely enclosed. The other is the School House Bridge in Lyndon.
Walter Bagley built the Lincoln Gap bridge in 1880. Bagley's claim to fame may be the peculiar construction of the bridge he left us. The roadway was strengthened with timber cross-braces and stringers and the roof was re- shingled in the fall of 1995 by Paul Ide and Jan Lewandoski.
The bridge is located within the village Historic Residential District. The village stands in the folds of a jumble of short, steep hillocks, displaying a mix of old New England and Victorian architecture. The old mill dam stands a ruin downstream from the bridge.
The Town of Warren was chartered to John Throop and Associates on November 9, 1780. With the Mad River running through the center of the town, Warren developed as a mill town. The town hosted a hoe handle factory, a clothes pin factory, a dowel, chair stock and rolling pin mill, and the Warren Wooden Bowl factory. Walter Bagley, the builder of the Lincoln Gap Bridge manufactured clapboards in South Hollow for several years.
*Also as a sidenote, I found out while researching this that they just refurbished/re-built this sometime in 2000.

What?
and the new one! was gonna do the top of the gap... uh, lincoln gap. but too steep, not really any place to park safely w/out risking the bike falling over. Also some good info about this that I read at the local diner a while back: During horse & carriage days, guys would shout obsenities (sp?) at their horses to make it up this last hill before town. Joseph Greene decided to put this prayer on this rock to try to calm them from shouting such words. Notice the date at top: 1891 AD

Nice! Always wondered about that rock.
Good spread going so far... keep on keeping on!

no idea how, or I would, if you put it right above the label "jericho" it'd be close enough though
theres just something about a blue bike
I never knew that rock had writing on it.LOL.
no shit! its only a 30 until just after you get by the rock. Unless your heading into town it goes from 40 to 30. But hell, even i'm typically doing 45-50ish.i know, i know, i shouldn't. especially since the cops do like to sit in the pull off every now and then. had one grab me there once for no insp. sticker on my car. (just had the winshield replaced, his hands were tied, so no ticket or anything)

I did lincoln gap the other day on the way to the bridge. It's really not that fun. Narrow, one car width at best, steep, and on the way down the other side, the road had moss starting to grow, in places the sun doesn't shine through the trees much. not too safe. I don't even like driving up there, though i will admit its pretty cool in the fall. closed in the winter. oh and p.s.- if you did lincoln gap today, as you came through lincoln you rode right by my house. i might have seen you, but not sure. i was home all day. stop in some time!![]()
What?
Sweet, yeah lincoln gap isn't a haul-ass twisty road, but it's good for a moto-style adventure romp! Where's your house in lincoln? I will have to drop in next time I'm down there. I was just cruisin with a buddy who'd never done either gap on his older GS and wanted to see some twisties.

Well, it's been 48 hours and I don't have a new one... Really haven't gotten a chance to ride anywhere interesting at all due to work hours and weather. FAIL.
If someone else wants it, they can have it! Otherwise I will try to get one this afternoon, even something lame and easy.

We should take a VTBN Crew Shot here, and then see who can get to a cool place with some nice roads and post up first...a little contest if you will, first post up gets it.
