Anyone know how to splice fiber? Feel like coming over and climbing the pole in front of the house? Guess it would look bad with a fiber line running from the pole to the house. Ah well. Us unemployed types can't exactly afford $95 a month for DSL and telephone service.

I was met with resistance (non-LEO kind) which forced an about face. Weak sauce.
I am an epic failure.

On another note, the LEO's might possibly come looking for me or be trying to call. Some old geezer had a disagreement with my chosen speed of 28-29mph in a posted 30 zone and was flailing his arms nicely. He then stared at me after I passed, most likely taking my tag, as I shook my head and mumbled something not so nice. I should have turned around and asked him wtf the problem was. Oh wait, I know...a sport bike in his little picturesque lake side community that has every right as him to be there. I know the limit there and I always do said limit. Oddly enough I usually have cars lining up behind me. Wonder why the arms weren't flailing at people in cars.

So right now I wish I could get 30+ people together to go take a nice leisurely ride around the lake.
