That's exactly what it was

My speedo stopped working on the way to the tag. Lo and behold its laying on the ground when I stopped and the thumbscrew is worn completely smooth. I must have dragged it half the trip.

The best part was me trying to fix the thing with all my gear scattered around me when some old guy pulls up on a riding lawn mower and starts cutting the grass right next to my bike in the pic, blowing grass all over my bike and gear like nothings wrong. He didn't even ask me what the problem was.

I thought I was so smart, then my wife comes in, here's my futile outloud attempts, she suggests one thing and BAM! I found it. It'll be dark by the time I get there, so tomorrow bishus.

Do you need another EX250 speedo cable? I've got a spare; it's got a break in the casing, but I covered that in duct tape and it worked just fine until I recently put the used-but-unbroken one on in hopes of selling my 250.
