I wish I knew where the last tag was! I've been searching for half an hour or so. Looks a lot like parts of lake champlain, but that would be beyond 50 miles from the last tag.

So IMO some newb made his first post in this thread and killed it. I recall spending a lot of time researching that tag and was unable to find a likely location within the required 50 mile radius. I suggest that we strike that last tag, and go back to the previous one so that this thread can continue in 2012.

That would definitely be a problem but are lots of lakes and ponds within 50 miles of the last tag include Fairlee and Morey... my money is on one of those.

<opinion on> To me, most tags that are provided here are done so with enough "clues" ( distinct landmarks, signs, historical locations ) such that at least one other person on this TOR can find it. The last one provided has none of these. How many small barns are there out there next to a body of water? And no one else knows where this is. This is holding up this TOR moving on so I vote for skipping and having someone ( anyone ) grabbing a new tag so we can get this thing moving again. <opinion off>
