So I as riding around the other afternoon, the 24th to be exact, and i thought about grabbing the tag. Then I was reminded that I had to ride into Winooski in 88* weather to take a picture...I said to meyself, "Self, thats just silly." So I went swimming in my river instead.

which is funny because last thursday I had the exact same thoughts with the rotary at rush hour..... I was there, looking at it and the big line back of cars and it didnt look all that amusing so I just went on my way.

Everyone should be glad we don't have to deal with all those Boston tags in the other Tag-o-Rama thread. So you have to ride into Winooski... cry me a fucking river.

I'll go get the tag myself if I ever manage to get out of work at a reasonable time... pissed at myself for forgetting on Tuesday. Not that I would have had time to place a new one. I'll tell you, this annoying "work" thing is seriously cutting into my time to take care of important things.

Hey man, nobody else stepped up during the 4 days or so where I couldn't get a new one! I won't be on a ride worth tagging until next tuesday (stupid work )

Okay, now I regret sticking up for him.

I was determined to keep this thread from death so I get home from work, put on jeans and leather jacket in sweltering weather. Make sure camera battery is charged. Gas up the bike. Roll down to where I think the tag is.

Hmm, it's not clear from any of the streets / parking lots where the tag is so I park and go for a little walk.

In 90 degree weather carrying all of my gear.

Found it.

The current tag is located on what amounts to a bike path marked "Service Vehicles Only". People walking their dogs, riding their bicycles, etc.

Sigh.

I guess I thought people would know enough to post tags where it's legal to be operating a motor vehicle. I guess I'll have to add another rule.
