I found this bike on the EX forum... i am beginning shopping for a trackday/race bike for next season... can anyone help me out with this. what are your thoughts? what should i be looking for etc? any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

The one you described with the F2 front, etc wouldn't be any good for racing. The mods kick it right out of Production twins and into ULSB where it's going up against FAR faster machines.

im not too concerned with being overly competetive right now just looking to find my start into racing to get the XP level up and go from there. if i can work it out to get on a decent enough machine and put up a fight right out of the gate than ill look at it as a bonus

Great bike to start racing on, but like kurlon said I'd stay away from that one because of the mods....you should look for a stock one, and make sure it's got 17" wheels (94 and newer).
