09 KX450 gearing

Trying to finish up my bike but cant get a definite answer for gearing. Right now I'm running 14/42 and I already know its not going to be enough for loudon. Does anybody have experience with gearing needed for a kx? Can I fit a 15 up front and where can I get anything smaller than a 42 for the rear. Any help is appreciated.

Any filing or grinding to get the 15 on? Any benefit to running the 15 instead of just dropping my rear to a 40?

the swingarm angle is pretty high on the kawi. if you run a small sprocket in the front, the chain starts to cut thru the chain guide and then the swingarm at the pivot. be sure to use a tm designworks chain guide.

after riding mike's kx I feel 15-40 or 15-41 would be ideal
